6 months ago I just got a message that one of the scamming bastards tried to steal money from my client for an auction that's NOT even FINISHED yet! Be careful!
I don't have any secondary accounts and never use other people to communicate with clients, also I NEVER add anyone on Discord myself and always sending a note on Furaffinity or message on Twitter/X asking YOU to add my Discord username to friends. This way you could be sure you'll communicate to me and only to me. I recommend everyone to do the same. Contact the artist on their verified official FA / X / BlueSky accounts and only ask for their verified username, don't accept any friend request on Discord or in Telegram unless the artist confirmed this action using the account you got the YCH or commission slots from. Also I highly recommend you to hide your Discord and Telegram nicknames from your Furaffinity page or anywhere else. Always share it with people you want it to be shared with. And be careful and mindful, especially when there's money requests involved, check things twice, please.
Also, even if you get a message from the verified social media account, it could also be hacked, so check twice WHERE you send the money.
