Q:Why does your bat character have 6 limbs? Mammals don't have 6 limbs...
A:Because I want my character to be able to do things with his hands without being encumbered by huge webbed fingers.
Q:But it's not realistic!
A:I'm not sure that was a question, but since when are anthro characters actually realistic? There are no rules to anthro characters.
Conclusion: Take the stick out of your butt, and stop policing people's design choices.
