What is this page for?
This account was made mostly just for an icon you can post on your profile!
This page is primarily for those with an interest in Age Regression, or nostalgia. Often for therapeutic or recreational reasons.
This is to help display the SFW AgeRe community and highlight the differences between a somewhat similar subject it is often mistaken for:
AB/DL & Ageplay which is kink and therefore NSFW. This page is for the non-kink community.
This is not an anti-kink page. Just highlighting that the AgeRe community is a SFW community & not the NSFW kink space for Age Play or AB/DL.
There is a clear distinction between the two. One is kink. The other is not.

Recreational/Artistic Use (The main point of this page)
Many people simply choose to revert to a younger headspace, or regress their fictional characters or sona in artwork and writing and do not do so themselves.
AgeRe adjacent interests (Kidcore or nostalgia style artists etc.) that do not necessarily require regression as a subject fall into this category as well.
There are those who regress for fun. Those who enjoy the aesthetic and act of being small but may not actually regress. etc.
I (Mofuwan) personally use this icon to show that I enjoy drawing SFW Children's Book tier art
and that my profile page is only for nostalgia, processing trauma, art therapy, and just drawing tooth rottingly cute things.
You can use it if you think it fits you.

What is Age Regression?
Age regression is never considered sexual. For more specifics you can check here: https://agereinfo.carrd.co/
In mental health, it’s a type of defense mechanism that allows you to mentally escape to a different time in your life.
This is different from pretending to be younger. Age regression occurs when someone reverts to a younger state of mind.
This retreat may be only a few years younger than the person’s physical age.
It could also be much younger, into early childhood or even infancy.
People with a history of trauma may be more likely to regress certain mental health issues make age regression more likely.
Age regression (IRL) could be a symptom of one of these conditions:
★ schizophrenia ★ dissociative identity disorder ★ schizoaffective disorder ★ post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
★ complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) ★ major depressive disorder ★ dementia ★ borderline personality disorder ★ etc.
Please be kind. It comes from a place of hurt or a need that was not fulfilled (often beginning in early childhood).

This place is not an appropriate space. Consent is cool.
A person may be a part of both SFW & NSFW communities, and others may only be a part of one. There is occasional overlap, especially for adults.
But this space is for the SFW ONLY side, as in most cases people often assume out of habit
that any baby/child character is related to Age Play or AB/DL
particularly in art that depicts anthro/furry characters
and most of us REALLY dislike the automatic kneejerk reaction when in a SFW space.
