Good, so let me finally justify the radio silence.😬

Last Monday, a new avalanche of text to translate for an upcoming DLC of a Steam game I've been providing "PT-BR" localisation since 2019 came in, and once I had just finished to pay every monthly bill I needed, I thought "why not saving the whole week to take care of all this translation first, so I do my part not to hold the devs back, and then I resume comms, personal art and stuff?". But that didn't necessarily meant to not keep uploading old ones here, that was but a consequence of the whole overfocusing on the given task.😅 Good thing I didn't reopen that new animation commission slot one week earlier.

And indeed I wanted to talk about that as well. For all those interested, new six-slot batch for animation commissions opening this Monday, April 6th, although unlike stated last journal I'll reopen for both YCHs ($80) and colored 48-frame-limit loop ($100) (check my main page profile for more info and description).

I know that three journals ago I said I'd be reopening slots at the very first Monday of 2026, but upon further self analysis I decided I can postpone that in order not to pile up delayed comms again.😅 This time I mean it tho - come Monday 19th six new slots for drawing commissions will be reopened. Same prices as before, so anyone interested can start planning ahead their ideas and payment. However, as for any animated commissions, I still didn't think on a proper time to reopen then nor which type will be available, it'll depend on the course of things, all I can guarantee is that it won't be this month.

Well, it's that time of the year again: its very beginning where our hopes are renewed.🤭

My goal still the same as the last two years: move to a better country, only this time I have more of a "green light" to do so. I gotta say I'm kind of an important piece in the few friend and family circles I belong here, so one of the reasons that had weighed down my efforts to do so was a guilty conscience to move abroad and leave some holes here. Well, not only this year things are a lot more settled down on that matter, I also fear for a near future since this is a presidential election year down here, and well... Brazil ain't getting any better. In these past twenty years as an adult I've seen very few positive changes to supress the ever so growing cost of life and ever so receeding quality of life no matter who's in charge, and I don't have any reasons to believe the next four years will see any improvement - by the looks of it once again these people are going to choose either to "remain poor in the hands of the left" or "remain poor yet blindly complacent and self-opressive in the hands of the alt-right". So yeah, no time like the present to abandon this continental sinking ship.


Regarding art in general... things will change a bit this year, based on my past mistakes and the lessons I learned from not knowing my actual productivity pace. After a thorough self evaluation I'll start by reducing the number of animated commissions, in special the 'colorless but fluid' ones, a.k.a. $130 ones. I still got some from a semester ago to finish as I publish this journal, shame and heartache. ^^; Which is one of the reasons I'm not reopening any kind of commissions in the next two or three weeks, gotta try and convert this time in pending comm progress. Also, worth nothing, those next footvolley pics from that poll are finally going to come out, as well as a sort of "repechage^EU poll" (or "wild card^NA poll") for the five ones who didn't make it against another five girls in the cast.😉

In this meantime I need to take care of the commission piles before they get worse, but I also want to slow down a bit and chill more these holidays. :D

Well, things are not that desperate so far, but I do feel my paycheck this month won't be enough to cover all the damage this whole moving caused in my account, and expenses had been a bit unpredictable lately as we still managing our adaptation to this new "apartment life". However, I still owe a good amount of delayed commissions, so I can't open looped or colorless animations at this time, since they're a lot more time-consuming than YCH ones. Plus, the last slot of drawing comms still going to take the rest of this month to be completed, so I can't stack up even more drawings. I can, however, juggle YCH animations on it, therefore I'm here to announce they'll be up for grabs soon enough for anyone interested, because I guess I could use a "rainy day fund" right now.😬My initial plan is to open a new batch of slots this upcoming 17th, no earlier than that, but if any later, no further than the 21st.

Ironies apart... first, we asked our (now last) internet provider the ever so needed connection transfer to our new address. They said they needed three business days to start the transfer process, and unfortunately I asked for it on a Thursday not aware of that. By Tuesday afternoon we had no update on it, nor any of the customer service channels would let us reach them, neither their contact phone, nor their WhatsApp channel, nor their app, and they don't have any office in town so we can solve the matter in person. We decided to look for better offers, and upon finding one we managed to ditch their services.

Our next option was the mobile operator company we've been clients since they were established, back in 2003, and due to such long time relationship we were going to strike the best cost-benefit deal for their internet service. However... they're not the national champions of customer complaints in the telecommunications segment for nothing. Our uncles, the last tenants of the apartment we moved in, were using their service here, and asked for the transfer since the Tuesday we moved in. The company's system, for some reason, haven't yet registered such transfer, making it unable to regularize and install the new connection for us, so while we were waiting for their incompetence to move out of our way we went looking for a third option. Came yesterday, we found one and decided to bet all our chips on it.

In the end, we're paying six bucks more than our last plan, but at least we've got a reliable provider now, approved by plenty of our neighbors in the building. Anyway, that was just to explain in more details why I haven't uploaded anything during all this time, despite I could have used my smartphone to do so, just not any of such 'post-dA' commissions since they're all in my PC.😁

So yeah - back to daily uploads, finally!!! Oh and, in the mean time I even forgot about Halloween, given how chaotic this week was. ^^; Happy Halloween, everybody!

Just wanting to share a piece of news that not only took its toll on my art progression this week but it might take me another day to resume: my family is finally moving from the slowly-falling-apart house we've been living in nearly three decades. This week has been a hectic boxing and cleaning routine, I'm actually surprised on how we have such an unconscious hoarding disorder here.😅 We'll need at least a day or so to settle in, so all my progress on current commissions will be on hold for the next 24 hours.

Gotta confess tho, I'm looking forward for such change of scenery. Despite having plenty of memories to treasure in here (fetish-driven or not🤭), I'm actually glad we're finding another place, and that the next tenant has enough money for reformations, unlike us. In this whole process i got rid of hundreds of sketches and WIPs, from which the important ones were properly scanned to my hard disk (such as the doodles for the next footvoley close-up pieces ;p ). And who knows, maybe my new room pumps me up enough to improve my drawing pace and inspiration - one of the reasons my production drops considerably is that my current room doesn't circulate air well, so it gets quite fuggy in here during peak heat season (our "summer" lasts nine months down here, to say so). Trying to do any art with the sensation you're in a Chinese kitchen drains my energy and mood away. So here's to a new proper workshop!😜

BUT! That doesn't mean I'm not looking for a way to bust me jolly arse all the way across the pond... any day now.😎

Well, personally I'd say I'm far behind schedule when it comes to commissions, and the more I try to remind when did I let such snowball roll down the hill, the more I think on what can I do to avoid getting buried again.😅 Personal art will have to wait for a bit.

First... hating to admit that old "you got to lose something you take for granted to truly appreciate it" situation, I'm glad to see FA back on its tracks. Need to open myself a bit here, I was warned about the, hm, exotic tastes regarding the arts here, but well, that doesn't matter for me really, I can be quite the "live and let live" kind of netizen, or even the "don't like it? Don't have it" one, so yeah, I'm not those kind of artists who'd never join this site because they can't cope with other fetishes I'm not in. Perharps that's what I like the most about FA, compared to dA since it used to be my main art sharing platform: the atmosphere here is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more chill, no 24/7 trolls on the corner waiting for your next post to catalyze their god-forsaken life in form of normie bitching. Gotta confess such vibe is a major part of wanting to keep coming back and sharing more stuff. Never change, FA!

Second, about that $30 Wise-exclusive limited drawing comm deal, there has been four customers interested so far. However... two of them had no success registering their account, therefore unable to add funds to it. Word has it that such issue is bound to happen using the mobile app, so the alternative would be to register via website instead (still, what the heck, Wise?! How hard can it be to fix an app nowadays?...). Anyway, if anyone is interested there's still two slots up for grabs.

Been thinking lately... while PayPal has been sufficing my comm trading needs, the rising number of unsatisfied users (at least down here in Brazil) kinda worries me, so I could use a second option, therefore not helping but growing more and more curious to see if Wise is indeed a wise choice for an alternative. So it kinda came up to me: why not-- well, I don't really wanna use the term "kill two birds with a stone" in a site meant to appreciate animal forms so... why not... 'tickle two feet with one hand' and strike a deal with anyone interested in a drawing commission while giving such alternate virtual wallet a run?

First, UPDATE ON THE NEXT BATCH OF ADOPTABLES! They'll be up for grabs this Friday, April 4th, so anyone willing on acquiring them can start planning their budget to do so in advance. Can't enter in much more details apart from what has been said already - same prices and rules as before, accepting payments via Wise now, this batch might be smaller than the past two etc. as the final list still on the works, but I can tell this upcoming one will even feature a "four-pack" by the same price of duos or trios. ;)

Second, just letting you all know that I finally decided to share commissions from non-FA members here on my gallery - that is, from those who gave me permission to do so. Long story short, swearing to myself to never be active on dA again didn't exactly meant I'd quit drawing (specially of the fetishist kind), so around three years after I left it I started accepting commissions again, but solely via Discord - it was the only place I was still in touch with fellow artists and friends from dA times back then. To put it shortly: from 2020 'til now there has been a good bunch of unseen art from yours truly, some of which were shared on my Pixiv account, created a couple years ago, and many others that were never shared at all, until now (or in a very near future). Gotta state how such commissions have been very helpful, specially during the three months I lived and studied in Brighton and Hove, they saved me from owing my soul to the bank for a loan. 😊 I'm planning on submitting them chronologically, preferably starting this week.

To revamp or not to revamp, that is the question. And as I decide which classic OC is on my ongoing plans and which are not, a new list is slowly being filled. Could swear I said it before, but just to reinforce the idea: some just go through a design update, some gets any possible percentage of revamping, and some, I feel it would take too much of a general makeover to fit to my current standards - info, design, background story, personality, lock, stock and barrel, so... why not come to one from scratch instead?

That's where such adoptibles list comes. Well, that and how many watchers, new or since dA times, have enough appreciation for them to want and keep them - to which I'm very grateful for, make no mistake. ;) So yeah, a third list is on the making right now, although this one is likely to be even smaller than the last one. Prices will be the same as before ($20 for an individual or $30 for a specific duo or trio), and while payments via PayPal will remain the main method, those willing to give it a try on Wise are not only welcome but encouraged to. ;)

Out of every possible virtual wallet services out there I've never found a PayPal alternative that actually has full support in Brazil, otherwise I would have made one long ago just to be on the safe side. Apparently tho, out of the newer options in the market Revolut and Wise are two names that frequently pops up on that matter. I'm still doing my research on the first one, but [after an odyssey of selfies and document photos from my phone ^^; ] I've just made a Wise account for me, convinced they'd fit my local bank transfering needs since they're advertising on Brazilian YouTube IP adresses, and in fact they allowed me to register one of my local bank accounts.

The main reason I'm looking for alternative virtual wallet services, gotta tell, is because some friends who wanted to commission me not too long ago are not using or not allowed to use PayPal anymore, so for any future cases like these Wise may come in handy (maybe Revolut too after I get enough info about it), although I still haven't concluded any transaction on it so far, so anyone who booked a commission here who uses Wise and want to make an initial experiment, or even, anyone who's not currently waiting for one but uses Wise and is up to try it, feel free to send me a message so we can discuss details and give it a try. 😉

Oh and yeah... tho it started as a wee joke, I would indeed reserve a couple of slots for Steam or eShop gift cards but they're region blocked in Brazil.😅
