Update on Juicydumpling scam situation
General | Posted 2 years agoPuppy has since relisted the adopt, and have set the price at a very generous starting point of zero dollars. Sure hope they don't jack up the price like they did for me! ^^

Don't buy adopts from juicydumpling
General | Posted 2 years agoI have had a negative experience with the user Puppy regarding one of their adopts. Originally, they had the post claiming that bidding on the adopts started at one dollar. I thought to myself, I can place the starting bid, and I'll be fine if someone decides to outbid me. I check again for the post several hours later, and I find that it had since been deleted and replaced with one saying that the adopt had a fixed price of sixty dollars. I'll admit that I had a knee jerk response and called the artist a "jerk".
This was wrong of me. I deleted the remark, said, "I'll admit my first post was a knee jerk reaction, but if the initial starting bid that was set on the original post was incorrect, I would have appreciated some transparency with that, rather than deleting the post and replacing it with a fixed price. Acting like it never even happened."
Puppy responded with a question mark, before saying "or just use ur eyes and read, assuming u have those"

I would have been more understanding if Puppy was more upfront with wanting to charge more for their adopts. Instead they choose to lie and berate me for not reading their 'rules' after they changed them.
