SCHOOL UPDATE:
I'm currently on vacation from school.

HOWEVER, I'm waiting to hear back from several people (financial aid, scheduling conflicts with work, plans with family). Depending on how everyone's answers line up, I'll return to school either in the summer or fall.

For now, my goals are to catch up with friends, draw as much as I can, and spoil my new kitten.

Hey guys, I'm back and done with another semester of school!
BIG NEWS: At the end of March, my family adopted a new kitten!
She is a calico and about 7-8 months old.

Her name? Well we named her... Pepper.
Look, before you ask: I DID NOT WANT TO NAME HER THAT!
I suggested a dozen other names, but OF COURSE that's the one my family voted for.
They said it goes perfectly with Salty, our other cat! (Which yeah, it does... lol)
Whatever. I love her all the same!

To avoid confusion, I'll call her PepperCat.
(MEDABOTS, ANYONE???!)

Samantha was my favorite character; 10-year-old me wanted to be just like her lol.

PepperCat's still adjusting to her new home, so she's quarantined in the bedroom and hasn't met Salty yet. I hope they will get along and be the best of friends. Introducing cats is a process that could take months, so I will post an update when it happens!

Life update:
All the problems I had at the end of 2025 (job, money, family issues) got resolved much faster than anticipated! That means I start school next month! (Feb 2)

Since I'll be busy with classes, I will be less active on social media.

For my 35th, we went out for Korean BBQ and played video games all day long! xD

I tried my best to make my guardian look like Gertie (LMAO), but face customization was limited.

As for my dwarf, he was originally a character I made for dnd a long time ago.
I even did a sketch of him, but it got buried somewhere within my many sketchbooks. (Will upload it if I ever find it again!)

His original name was Derrick (or Derek). (I don't remember how I spelled it...)
So I just named him Pepper for this game.
Maybe I'll try drawing him again soon!

Hey guys! A life update:
Due to personal reasons, I decided to take next semester off from school.

Don't worry, it's nothing bad.
I just need time to sort out some issues (jobs, money, family stuff).
Everything should be resolved by the end of next summer!

I'll be returning to school for the Fall 2026 semester.

Over Thanksgiving, my family gifted me a 2TB SSD and a copy of Baldur's Gate 3!
Been playing co-op with my partner ever since. <3

My character is a redheaded dwarf berserker.
He was originally a character I made for DnD, but never got the chance to play.
(school started, everyone got busy, and the group disbanded.)
So it was cool to finally see him in action!
And YES OF COURSE I romanced Karlach. xD
Also, I made my dream guardian look like Gertie LMAOOOO

We spent the holiday weekend upgrading my computer and having many heated arguments over Windows vs Linux. LOL

I'm SO EXCITED to finally have a computer that can run Photoshop again!
Can't wait to start drawing on this thing!

Hey everyone. I'll keep this short:

I just had a family emergency come up.

The good news: I'm FINALLY done with summer school and I have time to draw!
The bad news: My computer died.

I'm currently typing this on my ancient decade-old PC.
I'm super pissed cuz I lost everything: my photoshop brushes, tablet settings, and old art files.
(Luckily I may have a backup saved somewhere, but it's gonna take time until I find them.)

This old computer I'm using now is super SLOW.
It can't run Photoshop or Clip Studio without lagging to death.
I've been spending all week desperately testing out which art software it can still run.
So far, it looks like SAI and Autodesk Sketchbook are the only ones that run fast...
which sucks cuz neither of those are my main... but I'm stuck with them for now...

That means I'm gonna have to re-learn everything... and try to recreate all my old brushes.
I also had to take a long break from drawing due to school, which doesn't help...
My skills have gotten super rusty.

So the quality of my art is gonna be shit for a while... especially concerning line art.
It's REALLY hard for me to do clean line art atm. My hands aren't used to this computer/tablet/software combo.

Hey to anyone who sees this!
I'm new to this site (and the furry fandom in general), so I thought I'd introduce myself and talk about why I'm here.
I actually made this account 9 years ago, but I never used it until now.

DeviantArt was my main hangout for over a decade, but I think I've finally hit my limit:
I can't stand the new folder buttons layout, the flood of AI slop, and running into spambots more often than real people.

I will still keep my DeviantArt account open, since there's hundreds of my old art on there and it would take forever to reupload them all. Plus I still have some close friends who only use DeviantArt and I wanna stay in touch. But I am currently searching for a new art website to use as my main. Looking around FurAffinity so far: I like the gallery folders system, the inbox nuke buttons, the NO AI ALLOWED rule, and everyone I've run into so far has been super accepting and friendly.

I'm an artist, but I mainly draw humans (or humanoid characters, like catgirls or kemonomimi). My art is heavily influenced by anime, so I like to draw anime-style humans with just the minimal animal ears and tails added. Just a personal preference.

I only draw humans, so I don't think I will be too popular here.
But it would be cool to make a few friends!

Looking around the site, I've already found several human-only artists, so that gives me some hope on finding friends here!
