Eep. I'm posting more journals than usual. Anywho, there's something that's been bothering me.

I have extreme self confidence issues. Recently this has brought up some issues for me, well i mean it always has but even more so this year than others. Now I usually wouldn't talk about this at all but now it's causing me issues with cosplays and suiting. One main problem i'm having right now is that I want a fullsuit, but I feel like i'm not small enough for one to look decent on me. Even if this isn't true, I feel like I would look very overweight and that it would ruin the look of whatever suit due to my body size and because of all the fur and fluff it would be adding onto me. I know a lot of my friends have asked why I make fullsuits and digi-legs and everything but all of my suits are partials, and this is why. It's really starting to bother me, because I don't seem to have faith that I can cosplay anymore either. I feel like I can't pull any kind of cosplay off because of my body shape, or how much I weigh, or what my face looks like. Though out of everything I feel most comfortable when suiting in a partial with a really baggy jacket and pants or something. I guess because nobody can see my face, or my body shape. The reason i'm even bringing this up is not because I want people to compliment me, or am trying to get people to pity me, I just really need some good honest advice. I really want to continue to cosplay and not worry about things like that. And I really want to be able to make or commission a fullsuit and not have this issue. Because in all honestly, I look at myself and don't like the way I look at all most days, or at least don't feel confident in myself. I feel like this hinders me as I don't even enjoy going out into public and people being able to look at me since i'm always worried about it. I guess I feel like i'm constantly being judged when in reality I know that nobody cares what I look like most of the time.

Long story short. I'm not confident in myself at all, and it's starting to affect my want to cosplay and fursuit, as well as wanting to do anything. Does anybody ahve any tips on what to do or any advice?

I flip out waaaaay too much over art I commission from people. I have gotten 3 pictures I commissioned today and I hadn't commissioned any art or badges in a loong time and i'm just flipping. out. One of them is for a special someone and I, the others a chracter ref, and some badges. I mean I don't know why but I just get a little too excited. So if I ever commission you for art, fair warning that when you send me WIPs or when it's finished, I may just have a heart attack and send you a very overdone message back thanking you or saying it's perfect, etc. I'm trying to tone it down because iv'e scared people before apparently. bahaha

Now i'm just ranting but, a good friend of mine who usually doesn't draw furries surprised me one day. I was depressed and had to go to prom on my birthday, which at the time was the last thing i wanted to go to considering stuff that had just happened and people I would have to see there. But I woke up in the morning and she had done a picture of my sona in vector art and i squealed so much it was insane. I proceeded to fall on the floor I was so surprised.

Just to let everyone know, commissions are being paused until Saturday. Remaining commissions are being finished and sent out from now until August/early September and then I am closed for the fall and winter at least, and possibly just closed completely until next summer (Unless I make a post about limited slots for hands or something that is. I will still be open for quotes though!) I'm really looking forward to gaming this week as I have been too busy to take much of a break for the past few months. Will be playing The Last of Us, Borderlands 2, and replaying Bioshock x3 And, I'm really excited for the fourth of jJuly since my guy <3 and a close friend and his gf are coming over to just all hang out. I will finally get a break from work and do some summer things with friends! haha

And just one little thing.. Last night I had a dream that actually really scared me in many ways. I'm not quite sure I wan't to explain it all here, and I doubt many people would find interest. But it was pretty much everything I feared all happening at once. I'm okay now I think, but this morning I was in a bit of a panic because I woke up thinking it all had actually happened until I finally realized it was a dream. I don't know if me worrying, or stress, or working too much, or if any of that would cause something like this, but it does concern me a bit. ^^;;

Got my anthrocon deadlines all shipped except for one going out tomorrow :D

AND. I commissioned art for the first time in ages, and digital art at that. I don't usually commission art, hehe x3 but this is special.

I'm not sure who all even knows, but for about 7 months I was completely shaken and depressed to the point that I couldn't get it to go away. I would think I would be completely okay, then I would just remember or see one little thing and it felt like i had just broken into a million tiny pieces. I didn't know what to do. The person I loved the most left me, and all of my friends except for one of them just vanished the first sight of new friends. But I kept my head up because I didn't want people to know. I really hate people being worried about me.

Well the reason i'm posting this is because the past 3 weeks have been absolutely amazing for me. I got out of this depression and am happiest i have been in 7 months. I've managed to keep myself positive and was surrounded by amazing people at cons, as well as my true friends, and had something real special happen to me a few nights ago that really solidified me being completely happy. This has got my work spirit for art and commissions up 100% more than it was. I'm getting out my anthrocon deadlines, and all of my commissions and am going to focus on my life for a while. I will probably do one or two suit commissions sometime this year since I will be needing a car soon, But at latest I will be open next year earlier int he year for commissions. Things will be much more organized now that i have all of this family stuff and depression out of the way.


Thanks to all of my watchers. Just knowing that I have people who even care about the suits I work so hard on, or the art that i post, means a lot. <3

Anyone interested in a fursuit for that new animal crossing 3ds or pikachu 3ds and a few other things from gamestop. Pretty much i'm looking to do a quick trade for some stuff i want. This is going to be discounted since I just really want some of this stuff XD the assassins creed blade, and skyhook replica, a few games, etc. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT FURSUIT STUFF FOR ANY OF THAT K.

I need just a small bit or turquoise and red sparkle fur. I will pay, trade, anything. I only need maybe a 12x12 at most, even smaller of the turquoise but i can go up to a half yard or more of the red, but a 12x12 i can deal with for now!!

I also am desperately looking for an orange fur that is lighter or darker than df. I would get the burnt orange mongolian, since it is going to be shaved down, but i don't know how that looks shaved down x.x and i cant find just s small amount of it anywhere.. Does anybody have anything or know of anything?? Please please let me know!!

I'm working on a character right now, and I have some body markings I know I want, but as far as the rest i'm stumped. I know the colors and whatnot I want, but I can't get a design together. He has suit like markings and is an owl =)

I will be making him into a suit, so I was thinking maybe I could do a contest for some free fursuit stuff to the person who comes up with the best deisgn! He is going to be a padded fullsuit and I plan to start on getting the body foaming and head foaming, etc. done this july. So would this be a good idea for a contest? I would give out free fursuit hands, or a tail or something like that to the winner. Their choice.

I'm looking to commission a pretty complicated bodysuit. I'm wanting to keep the suit kinda a secret from everyone and friends so I won't be putting the ref up here, but if anyone has bases prices and would be interested please let me know! I will comment or shoot you a note if I am interested. I am not opposed to getting the body from one person and the hands from another, etc. since I am getting the head from a separate company from the rest. I think I will make the tail myself since I am wanting it a specific way, but i'm not sure. Post your examples and if you are open!! I wanted to make this suit special to me by not making it myself and getting it kinda patchworked together from different people. x3 I just really want this to be an almost present to myself after everything I have been going through recently and even just through the past year. It's been pretty hard and this is the one thing I have been wanting for years, so i figured what the heck!

I have decided to try digital art again, heh. It has been literally a year since I have touched and digital art program, but I decided to scan in a pencil sketch I did and sketch it out and finish it on sai! I personally don't think my art is too great ^^; especially compared to all those great artists out there.. so should I post it or just not? It's vent art kinda, but i'm not sure if it's any good honestly ouo;;

So long story short, should I post the wip pic??? Only a small part of it is lined, the rest is the redline/sketch. But i guess i'm looking for some opinions on my art.
