Here's to a new year!

I have been drawing a lot during my absence here, and I've just been hoarding art. It's mostly OC ship art and DnD art. I will post a few images here, but if you want to see more of my art, it would be best to check my deviant art, as I am slightly more active there.

I'm not really big on making resolutions for the new year, but going forward I'm going to do my best to post my art more frequently, and be more active in taking commissions.

Hey guys, just an update:

Due to a few events at work, I now am working 48 to 50 hours a week. We are short handed in my department, and because of this the few people we do have need to step it up.

While the extra money is always nice, unfortunately this leaves me with even less time to create the art you all enjoy. This means I will have to put a hold on my monthly Watcher Appreciation, and the prize art from my last contest.

I will try to keep you guys updated.

Thank you to all the participated in the naming contest! I really appreciated the effort that all of you put in to helping me finally picking a name. I'm glad to announce that has won with the name Priscilla! When I first read the suggestion, I knew it was going to be hard to beat. I used to have a pet rat that went by the same name and she was such a sweet girl. She was bursting with personality, and actually has helped me come up with a better idea of how I want this character to be.

I would like to bring up an honorable mention for . Ratty-Mc-Ratface was almost perfect. Unfortunately… it was TOO perfect.

Hello all!

Recently, I did some art of a lovely adopt I got from Ivory-Ice some years ago. This cute little rat girl melted my heart when I first saw the art. However, like most adopts, she went into a folder and was forgotten. After dusting off the design, I figured we should work together and give her a name!

I am open to all name suggestions. Just comment a suggestion either in this journal or on the submission. After I get a few name suggestions, I'll go ahead and pick my favorite. The name I choose will win a simple doodle/chibi art piece featuring the newly named rat girl and a character of their choice! I have also put in one name suggestion as well. If I end up choosing the name I picked, my second favorite name will be chosen as the winner and they will get the same prize as though their name suggestion was chosen.

Hey guys,

I'm not sure if many of you noticed, but I haven't been very active in a long time. Unfortunately, being a responsible adult with bills to pay really cuts into the time I have for hobbies. I just want to let you all know that I am well.

I plan to start being more active, and posting art! I got the idea in my head that I should redraw every single one of my original characters... and then I started counting them... and... yeah. That's a lot of characters I've created over the years! To keep it fun for you guys, I will be doing gift art for you guys! I got the idea from one of my watchers, TheCrazyKid, to do a watcher's appreciation drawing. Once a month, I will choose a watcher that actively comments on my art and draw them a little something special. May is almost over, but I may be able to get something drawn before June.

Additionally, what kind of art do you guys want to see from me? I'm curious to know. I have drawn a lot of stuff over the years. Why do you watch me? do you like the subject matter? The way I color? My sense of humor in my dumb comics?

New year, new journal. Wow... I really should try to update more.

I just wanted to announce that I will be attending the Biggest Little Fur Con in Reno, Nevada this June with my roomate  KiRAWRa. We will be sharing a booth in the dealer's den since we both had so much fun doing it at Rainfurrest 2015 (we miss you Rainfurrest!) If you happen to be in the area and want to stop by and meet me in person, I'd be more than happy to sit and chat. Heck, of you bring a sketch book I'll even doodle stuff!

In regards to my lack of submissions, recently I've been busy with work. My 40 hour weeks have turned into 44 hour weeks and I just don't have the energy to produce anything new. To top it off, even when I do have the time and motivation to draw, I feel like I have no creativity. It doesn't help that I have a billion other hobbies to distract me either.

I don't have much, but I also haven't forgotten my last art trade. It's still sitting on my desk top flat colored mocking me. XD hopefully I can get that done soon and start working on stuff again.

A quick question to my watchers: What got you to start watching me in the first place? What about my art is intriguing to you? I want to start giving back to you guys by giving you a little something you would enjoy most.

Thank you all for being so patient with me. When I had the urge to start these trades, I had hoped that I would get them done really quick, but I guess I was wrong.

I just started my new job at one of the casinos, and it's amazing! It is full time, so I really only get the weekend to work on things. It may take me a while, so I hope your patience doesn't wear thin!

But, I can't really draw it for free… So, I'm opening art trades!

I'm opening them because I don't have the energy to stay on schedule with commission work. Plus, I really enjoy getting art of my characters, but not paying for it. :D

First, a few rules:
- I require you to finish your half first. I insist on this because your drawing is my payment. If you've done trades before, and have not gotten anything in return, I understand-But, I will not start a trade until your half is complete.

- You get what you put in. You give me your best, and I'll give you mine. You give me a pencil sketch, you'll get one in return. Same with digital art.

- If you're interested in starting a trade, let me know! Either leave a comment in this journal, or send me a note!

The stuff you'd be drawing for me is pretty simple. Any of my characters. Most likely Raylet, and or Salazar. Or, if you want to surprise me with a random character, that will be fine too! I'll pretty much draw whoever or whatever you want, unless it's somebody else's character.

What? You didn't know I was there?
Yeah… sorry about that guys. Things got pretty busy as the convention date got closer. I thought about making an announcement journal several times, but I was so busy making things to sell in the dealer's den that I didn't have the time.

As for the convention, I was sick all four days. I toughed it out, though, and sat with  KiRAWRa each day, not missing a beat. I didn't make too much of a profit, though that was my own fault for not offering digital commissions. I'm glad I didn't take any extra work home with me though-seeing as the holiday's are coming up, I probably wouldn't have had the time to work on them anyway.

I did, however, take home one commission for a custom string doll for  iMeow, and as soon as we confirm the color choices, I'll get that finished and mailed out to him ASAP!

But seriously, guys, I had a ton of fun! Rainfurrest was my first furry convention, and it was amazing! I missed out on a lot of the panels, and other activities, since I was stuck in dealer's den for all four days, but I still had a blast. I really look forward to going next year, and hopefully getting to go to some panels and participate in some of the other activities they have.

Also, another shoutout to  SpadeFoot, I'm making progress on your auction commission. Thanks again for being so patient-you seriously are the best!

I have a job now. It's clearly affected my availability, and my posting of art. I'm supposed to be part time, but due to a bunch of people putting in their two weeks, it looks like I'm going to be pretty busy for a while-not that I'm complaining.

It feels great to finally get out of the house and get back to work again. Feel free to note or comment me if you want info on commissions [which may be on hiatus at the moment]

I also havent forgotten the YCH Auction I owe you, Spade. I swear I'll work on it the next time I get some time off. I's really hard to sit at a computer and want to draw when I'd rather sit and do nothing after standing all day.

I've never done it before because I don't know how I feel about people watching me draw. Or how many people would bother coming to keep me company.

Would any of my watchers be interested in watching me stream? Is it even a good idea?

It seems like nothing I post is all that important. Nobody really comments, or even acknowledge what I post. I can over look that though. I'm not trying to guilt anybody into favoriting or comment on my art. I really just would like some commissions.

Here's the rundown. In late August, my mom kicked me out of the house. My friend offered me a place to stay, so since then, I've been living in her dining room. thought I am extremely thankful for everything she has done for me, I get little to no privacy. I had a job when I moved in with her, and even had a nice amount saved up for my move to Washington, state. Then, my car broke down, and I had to spend all of my savings.

I've been told by all walks of life, "just, get a job, and then save, and then move. What's so hard about that?" Well... beyond the fact that it's pretty competitive out there for somebody who only has a high school education, I get extremely aprihensive and anxious to start doing something new. The jobs I have had in the past were easy. I thoroughly enjoyed working at them all, even though I was treated like crap at the end at most of them. And yes, I was scared to start at all of them, but at each one, I had moral support from friends who had already been working there.

So, now that you know my life story, here's what I need. Money is tight. I need money. Give me money and I'll give you art. Awesome art. Awesome art for a really good price.

So, my friend is FINALLY posting her stuff up here on FA! And, seeing all of her old art she's digging up reminded me of an RP we wrote years ago [and would still be writing if I would finally come up with some ideas!]. OH, THE NOSTALGIA!

If you've noticed, I posted 6 pages of a comic I had worked on to get some comic practice. Now, I don't ever plan on continuing the comic, but I might sketch up some pages out of some of my favorite scenes in the RP for more practice.

Hey guys, just a generic update to remind you that I am in fact still breathing, just not drawing.

I'd also like to say that the rescued bunny was nursed back to health 100% and is doing well at his new home. We tried to keep him here with our boy, and everything was working out fine-but they got into a bit of a fight and unfortunately had to be separated.

Thanks again for everybody who took an emergency commission to help the little guy get better. You guys are amazing, and we couldnt have done it without your help!

Last Sunday, while driving a friend home late at night, I spotted this little boy in the intersection a few blocks from my house. He was a little skittish when I initially approached him, but let me scoop him up. He is pretty malnourished, and has a lot of matts in his coat.

He's very friendly and will hop into your lap for cuddles, which leads to me to believe that he was neglected, and when the owner didnt want to care for him anymore, just left the cage open and let him escape.

Currently, he is with a very capable friend of mine who has bunny experience, but between the both of us we don't have the funds for extra food, supplies, and vet bills.

My goal is to raise $100 dollars in commissions to help my friend care for him, and make sure he doesnt have any major medical problems before we take the steps to find a permanent home for him.

Commission Prices are as follows:

- Waist Up = $10
- Full Body = $15-$20

Any little amount will help, so I am also offering pay what you want doodles!
