No art to post or anything. Just happy that a mandatory work event got canceled due to the weather. So I got to relax and watch Terminator 2 instead!

Well, it's happening again... Bills like these have usually never made it that far, but with how all three branches of government are right now, threats to us like these are way more likely to get passed. Nor can we count on the Supreme Court anymore to strike this down based on how vague it is.
I am so frustrated that every time bills like these are defeated (whether it be about porn, net neutrality, privacy, etc.) it always comes back with a fresh coat of paint a few years later. Trying to slip under the radar. It's just so exhausting trying to keep up with it all. I've been more politically active this past year than I have ever been in my life, and I am just so tired of it all.
My fellow Americans, please remember to write to your representatives. While they will likely never read your letter, hopefully some intern does so that they can add your opinion to their data charts. So if it shows that enough of their voters strongly care about the issue, maybe they will vote the way we want them to.
And that doesn't just apply to the laws mentioned here. We should be writing them about all of the issues we have with the way our country is going!

I am loving the new tag blocking feature! Like so much!! It has made browsing the site so much more enjoyable for me. I even like how it just blurs stuff out instead of completely hiding the pic from us. As it lets me make the decision to see it or not myself, rather than completely taking it from me.
And while there is still the problem of some people not putting tags on their art, this is still a massive improvement from before! Despite some other people's complaints, I've basically haven't seen anything I didn't want to without forewarning. It's even let me follow artists I wouldn't have been able to before because of the other things they post.
If you've somehow missed this new feature getting added, you should absolutely try it out for yourself!

Another Update

They apologized and it looks like they may be walking things back! And they got rid of the biggest problem mods. These have me hopeful that this will all work out in the end. Hopefully. I'd bet money that they intend to completely redo the 2.7 rule. But they are likely not going to rush it because they want to make sure that it does not completely alienate our community this time. They said that they are pausing enforcement for the time being. And I think that it's going to remain that way until that eventual rule change happens. And with certain mods now gone, I actually believe that this time.
Regardless, I am still going to try and be more active on other sites too. I may be optimistic about this, but a lot of our community was still hurt by all of this. And for a number of them, trust is completely gone. So I think that a number of them still won't be coming back here. At least for a while.
Plus I am personally having fun uploading my gallery to other sites for the first time. Especially Itaku (Hint Hint nudge nudge).
As for FA, I will start reuploading some of the art here that I purged in response to the rule changes. So expect some of those back. :)

Update / Where to Find Me
General | Posted a year agoWell, I was afraid something like this was going to happen. Still, it was a pretty terrible situation to wake up to. I don't know if it's a rouge mod or two, or if it's a concentrated effort by the mod team to drive ABDL/Babyfur from the platform. Whatever it is, we no longer have Dragoneer around to try and reign them in.
Whatever the case is, it has become clear that I have no idea how the mods determine if something is a violation or not. Seeing some of the stuff that artists were recently banned for has left me frustrated & confused. With them claiming that some characters that are clearly adults as minors and completely non-sexual situations as sexual. The fact that they are also banning people for things not even mentioned in the TOS makes it even worse. I have no idea what to think.
I've gone ahead and deleted some things from my gallery. I will also probably delete a few more. None of it violates the TOS, but better safe than sorry I guess. Though it may not matter in the end. The new administration has shown that they are not our friends. And I think it will only be a matter of time before they go after all ABDL & babyfur content.
I'm not abandoning the site quite yet. I will still be posting art here, but will be even more selective from now on.

Minor Art Removal

Due to the recent policy changes (and knowing how unpredictable the mods can be) I will be going through my gallery and deleting anything that could be misconstrued by them. Just to be clear, I do not have any NFSW artwork involving minors in my gallery!!! However, I don't want to get my account nuked because a mod made a mistake. I've heard about people getting suspended too often to not be nervous about it.
I'll be doing this some time in the next month or so. I will only be removing pics that I think someone MIGHT misconstrue as being... that.
If I end up deleting a pic you liked, you can likely find it on my InkBunny! I generally post everything over there first before moving it over here anyway!
