Haven't forgotten about requests,
General | Posted 9 years agoJust been rather busy looking after an ill mother (who's had brain surgery no less!) and packing up a house for a move. Though when I do get a moment to myself I just can't seem to draw anything to a level I'd at least accept.
After the move I'll have a bit more help looking after my mother and hopefully a bit of time for drawing furry things.

Ask for something naughty, a bit out there and it may be yours. Fail to do so and you shall not receive. The more creative and taboo the better. Maybe. Unless it's really sick taboo. (I have a weird idea as to what is sick and what isn't).
As I'm drawing this and spending time on it I decide who gets it, so if you see a comment before yours don't be afraid to post your own request!

what I has been doing
General | Posted 9 years agoWell, so far I've spent about 5 days away from my mothers visiting family. Managed to see my children for a couple of days whilst staying at my fathers house which is all I really wanted this year. So you'd think my christmas was complete!
But no! So far i've managed to see 15 family members whilst travelling back and forth and even staying at my aunts for a couple of nights. She's a traditional oil painter and loves painting horses so we've had a great time nattering away about all kinds of arty farty subjects.
Also managed to fit in 3 (yes 3!) Christmas dinners in as many days. I'm about ready to pop!
As for fa related stuff, that may have to wait a little. I need to pack up mothers belongings as shes moving house in january. I'm also having to move in with her for the time being as she's been taken rather ill of late, seizures and the like you see.
That and I've got yet another round of sculpting to polish off and get on kickstarter.
However I would very much lile to finish off the last request I offered and move onto a comic and setting up a patreon project for launch next year.
In the mean time I'd also appreciate a commission or two. Something I can work on in the knowledge its putting a bit of cash into my pocket.
Anyway, that's enough of me blathering on and filling time beforw I head off to bed. Besides my thumbs starting to feel a bit of cramp tapping all of this out using a mobile. Maybe my new years resolution should be actually using predictive text.

Patreon project - 2 sided furry counters. Thoughts?

I'm thinking of setting up a Patreon account in order to facilitate my hobby of miniature figurines.
You may well be aware that I sculpt miniatures intended for table-top gaming and sometimes it's successful, sometimes it ain't. Though I'm pretty sure by now that furry based minis are no way to make a living! Though I believe drawings intended with a front and back picture, intended to represent furry characters in various settings may have some appeal. in that they're relatively inexpensive for people to print off and turn into 2D miniatures.
Whilst I'd like to cover all sorts of settings I'd very much like to 'finish' a project I started years ago. it was inspired by the Jade Claw role playing book whereby you had chinese inspired funny animals and more recently you could argue that watching things like Kung Fu Panda with the kids has given me a little more impetus to work on such a project.
I'd also like to come up with a simple but fun set of rules to go with these miniatures. Namely fun Kung Fu style tabel top gaming where pieces can throw each other around and perform ridiculous stunts along with simplified RPG progressions for your various Kung Fu animals.
Just a thought, I'll be starting work on it soon to try and set up a nice looking Patreon page but I'd appreciate your thoughts on the matter.
