Today I was shown a story from some fanfiction website, and I've been laughing at it so much that my cheeks are in pain and my ears are wet with tears. I was told after reading it and exclaiming my sheer enjoyment for it that I had apparently written this story back in 2012, and I have to say, I'm extremely proud of myself for writing something that made me laugh so hard years later.
Maybe you won't find it as a funny as me, but I wanted to share it with y'all. It's not very long, but I am incredibly fond of it.

Posted 9 years agoThis is going to be an extremely short journal. I hope. Sometimes I ramble. Let's get on with it!
Hello! Some may have noticed that I haven't uploaded tunes in a while. Others may have also noticed that I'm not as talkative as I used to be. This is because I have two jobs now! I do game testing during the day, and then I do soundwork in the evening for a few clients. As a result, my talking time is pretty much just on the bus to and from the day job, and the odd weekday/weekend where I don't have a sound project to work on. Sorry about that.
But there's good things to this!
A., I happen to love both my jobs! I love video games and breaking them, it's sometimes more fun than actually playing them to me. I also adore sound, and doing soundwork like this is allowing me to get some nice experience for doing it professionally. Yay!
2., I didn't think this through, I just had that above thing to say. I think. We'll see if I get to this journal without remembering something.
EDIT: I just remembered!! I was going to say that this is also good experience for the future and stuff like that. Yeeeeeee

I'm Kevin Spacey
Posted 9 years agoIt's a boring title for a journal, and yes, I know a lot of you already know, but I figured now would be a good time to get everyone clear about this. I've been getting a lot of notes about this and it seems that I've already been quite well known by the community long before I joined. I'm not one to flaunt my status, but many of you are quite persceptive, and have been able to find out my secret identity, heheh! I suppose it's trickled out enough to the point that people have been asking me directly if I am indeed the actor Kevin Spacey, and I figured it's high time I put those theories to rest.
Yes, I am indeed Kevin Spacey Fowler, the actor and director who's starred in such films as The Usual Suspects and played Frank Underwood in that show House of Cards. I apologize that I may have bent the truth about things such as my age, but I've decided there'd be no more fibs. Surprise!
I ask however, that even though I am Kevin Spacey, that I not be treated any differently that how you all treated me before. I'm still very much Aevsivs the cheerful little jumping spider, that hasn't changed, he's still my 'sona and I'm still very much a furry and proud of it! Remember that we're all humans behind our critters, with names and backgrounds and all that. I'm no different from you as you're no different from me.

She's going to be posting one spider picture a day, and it's going to be awesome, and I'm really excited about this and if you're a fan of spiders, you should be too! Her art is absolutely adorable, ahhhh ;;u;;
She's even holding a real inexpensive YCH and I'd highly recommend throwing a bid if you want to get all bound up by an arachnid, gyeh-heh! Best keep an eye on her page if you like spiders, or buggy stuff in general! Check it out!

I haven't! The reason for that is because spider is a total teetotaler, ahhhh!

Lil' Aevsivs Update Thing

I figured I should give a little update about what's been going on around Aevstown. Skype contacts may have noticed that my time on Skype has been severely limited lately, and this is due to two reasons. First of all, my waking times have been pretty much completely switched. Due to having to change my sleep schedule for work, I am now only around at about 6-7 PM to 8-9 AM. That's right, I am now a completely nocturnal bug, and thus it's been difficult to keep up with people who are awake at more normal times.
Second off, I've been Skyping just straight up off a lot as of late. That reason being that, well, my internet connection has been getting worse and worse, and I've found that Skype really hampers it a whole lot, so considering doing things while Skype is on can get incredibly wonky, it's been something I've been keeping off. I try to log in from time to time, but that's going to be rare still. The good news however, is that I've placed a order to get some nice wired connection outlet extender electricity-line power whatevers that SHOULD fix this issue, given that whenever I do get the chance to plug my lappy in, it works like a charm! Hopefully that'll get around soon, I'll likely be around a lot more once that happens. In the mean time, it should be said that I'm on Telegram as well, and I keep that thing on because it's a lot smoother, and runs in the background rather nicely. To be honest, I kind of prefer that these days!

Posted 10 years agoGoodness gracious, I got so many comments on that other journal that I was really floored by it, you guys are really awesome, jeez... ;;u;;
I had an absolutely amazing birthday, definitely one of the best in a lot of years. I had quietly celebrated at midnight, then headed up to bed at about 1:30 AM. However, as I was looking out my window, to my surprise and joy, I saw that it had begun snowing. For the first time all Winter, it was snowing!! On the second hour of the date of my birth, ahhhh!! I was so happy, I immediately went outside and took a walk - recording the audio the whole way. It was wonderful, here's a few pictures that I took while I was out there:

Then, morning came, and I went to brunch with my pop, who treated me to my favourite breakfast place! I had an absolutely exquisite Butcher's Choice omelette; made from succulent sausages, bacon, ham, all snuggled together by amazing mozzarella cheese, mm! So good, heeeee! <3
Then I spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out with an 'ott over the internet, which was absolutely wonderful, as it always is, followed by a fascinating and rather high-brow conversation with a lizard about science, philosophy, and spirituality, which admittedly kind of went over my head at times, but it was really nice too! After that, pizza happened, I ate way too much, food coma'd, spoke with a bunoid about it, then promptly napped for several hours before waking up in a daze, promptly realizing I have plans for an early morning tomorrow, and concluding that I should probably go straight back to bed!
But not before thanking all of you guys again. Seriously, thank you all completely, all your words, all your wishes, and all your presences made me an incredibly spider to read through them all. It means so much to me that you guys would take the time to comment on that humble little journal for me, it's really quite humbling. I want to palp each and every one of your faces, ahhhh <3

500 Watchers!! RAFFLE TIME!!!

First of all, goodness gracious, I never expected to get 100 watchers, must less the amount I've got now. 500 is not a small number in the least, and jeez, I'm incredibly honoured that I've attained such a thing. You've all made a humble jumping spider feel so very warm and fuzzy inside, and to each and every one of you who views the pictures I've commissioned or have listened to my tunes (heeeee!), I thank you so gosh darn much, ahhhh! I could palp each one of your wonderful faces! <3
And so! I did mention a raffle! And indeed, there shall be a raffle! To celebrate my attaining these 500 watchers, I've decided to hold a little something for all y'all. So without further ado:

I'm back! I've got a computer, and I've got sound - two things that have been missing from my life for a good while! You know what else has been missing though? Y'all! Ahhhh gosh I hope you've all been well, I've missed you guys a whole lot while I've been gone, and it feels so great to be back! With that though, this hiatus is officially over!
And with my return, I bring a few new things!
One of these things is a raffle!! More information coming real soon! (Keep an eye on my journals!)
There's also going to be a lot more music around here!! Keep an ear out for that!
And of course, more spidery pictures! I've got a bit of a backlog that I'll be uploading over the course of a couple weeks, it's going to be awesome!

Lil' update mabooper!

So I've been on a lil' hiatus thingy for a while, longer than I had planned, the reason for this mainly being that my audio has gone from a bit messed up to completely busted in the past few weeks, which means that I've been unable to produce music or sound on my computer, though luckily I do have a piano that I can play and so have been brushing up on that in the mean time.
But there is some good news to this! I am sending in my computer for repairs tomorrow (Monday the 26th) and will hopefully get it back within a few weeks at least. This means that I'll be computerless for that amount of time, and so there won't be any uploads or anything until then. You'll still be able to note or tweet me (I'll get tweets faster!) if you need to reach me, but that is my situation at the moment!
Cheers friends! Take good care of yourselves, drink plenty of water, and bundle up warm because it's getting chilly out, put on that jacket!
