Hi!
Welcome to my page; I'm a Horned Lizard from the UK who is currently developing a 2D Sidescrolling Adult Platformer called Predation!
Information on the game itself can be found here as well as these places:
https://www.patreon.com/HornedLizardStudios
Join the Predation discord here!
https://discord.gg/5UzxVw9
Where I also post updates; if you check the submissions below you can find a latest build of the game for your perusal, let me know what you think!
But be warned, the game contains sexual situations and is most definitely an 18+ experience; my aim with development is to make a good game
as well as a good piece of adult entertainment, and treat the 18+ material as an in-house mod being developed alongside. That's not to say there
will be any less of a focus on it though, trust me!
So thank you very much for visiting my page, I hope you enjoy what you find!
(Also if anyone wanted to take a look at my
Patreon account that would be awesome!)

I love and would highly encourage any art or anything else people would like to do of any of the characters in the game, including Amber, so long as it's nothing too extreme in the NSFW department or mean spirited; not to say you can't make them, just I'd rather not see xD
Also, I apologise in advance if I don't reply to a watch or a favourite; I really appreciate all of them, I just tend to check infrequently enough that it builds up while I'm doing stuff; but hey if you want to chat I'm always happy to say hello, just give me a note!

A little update on the Rabbit Game! (G)
Hey everyone!
So, it's been a little bit and I figured I'd update you on the goings on while I think of it; you may have seen I put out a little demo a month or two ago for a game I had in the works on the RPGMaker engine, as yet unnamed, and you can still get that (I think anyway, haven't tested the link as of writing this) on the submission page, but as of writing this that game is now discontinued.
Because! We're doing it on the Godot engine now! Woo!
So essentially what happened was, I put the demo out, one I'd made just by myself on and off for a bit and unwisely decided to try out AI for the code aspect of it; I could ask for custom scripts to load into the javascript based coding system RPGMaker has and it seemed to work well enough at first for a personal project, so I carried on. Anyway fast forward to the release and not only have I pretty much reached the end of my ability to wrangle the code I'd asked the machine to make, but people pointed out it wasn't a good decision for a number of reasons, which I think I've taken to heart now and certainly won't be repeating the process even for personal projects; if nothing else arguing with a machine is something I don't want to repeat, I remember a time before they pretended to understand my frustrations and was pretty happy with that!
I was stuck at what to do, and initially resolved to learn javascript myself to get the thing made now that I had all these assets and ideas; I should point out that through all of this my partner in crime Tib, who does the coding for Predation, was aware I was doing this little thing on the side but it was something I was mostly sitting on until I felt it had enough to it to show everyone (I have a habit of getting over-excited and shouting about an idea that ultimately fizzles out before enough is committed to it), so until I'd given them the demo to try they hadn't really much of a clue what I was planning or trying to do; now that they had they wanted to help, and finally here we are now!
So, long story short, we're going to keep the scope at what I was imagining for the original game, but we're now using the same engine we're both familiar with for Predation and Tib can use their expertise and experience from one to the other, pretty good overall; progress so far has gone great, I've been remaking the tutorial area and already the stuff I can do to make the place more atmospheric is so much fun to mess around with; on Tib's side they've already set up pathfinding, map events of various sorts, a lot of the enemy AI is there now too it's really encouraging stuff; I won't speculate too much on the future but man, I already have some scenarios in mind that'd benefit from the same sort of engine etc. BUT! As I say, I have a tendency to get over-excited so I'll leave it at that for now.
Main things are, work continues on both this unnamed game I just call Cooper right now after the main character as well as Predation, just me and Tib and Sammy and no mechanical compatriots, and this whole process has if anything created the grounds for an even better, custom-made version of what I wanted to do beforehand, which much as I'm happy I made it is pretty hacked together and unrealistic for the engine I chose.
Thanks for reading, I'll put something else up here to show everyone when there's enough stuff you haven't seen in the old version added in; just as a teaser, I'm making a specific tutorial enemy to show Cooper what he's in for which will be the new first enemy encountered in the course of the game; so, you know, not much of a threat really, would be a little embarrassing to lose to them right out of the gate but I'm sure he wouldn't let such a thing happen...
