Case in point, I buy a hat, try to equip it and the freaking poster is on my head.

oh you drag the hat thing out place on ground then right click the poster thign open then it shows the item.. iits known as Boxed items XD

Well, its an ok place if you have a computer that can handle the streaming textures and models. Seriously, at one point I had a short collection of grey balloons introduce itself to me and by the time I left the club it still hadnt rendered. Kinda painful.

Usually on SL I go to artsy places rathr than hang out at clubs, or I'm drooling over well-textured, highly detailed Japanese creations... that and I build, when I can. I guess in a way it's like life, just find the things you are good at and find a way to work it into the game, I guess. It's harder with 2D art because SL is mostly about bringing creations to life, but you can build or explore (or be a sexy dancer at a club *nudge nudge* ehehe)

But yeah, I spend most of my time on there in Lolita or weird costumes because I can't do it irl, and I go adventuring to AM Radio's installations (which are eerie but wonderful) or I sneak around RP sims hoping I won't get caught snooping around 8D
