I've already gotten a few questions about what happens now that Hive Mind is over, both from friends and some of y'all, so I'll write my thoughts here. Anyone is welcome to comment their input too, since I'm undecided~
I want to create a follow up to Hive Mind but don't have enough info to go on yet. I know what the title would be, and an idea of what direction the story would follow, but nothing else that actually makes up a story. That's on hold indefinitely (not forever, but not anytime soon.)
I haven't yet finished "The Curse that Ruined Everything," not because it's over, but because no one seemed very interested. I plan to finish it at some point.
As far as other projects go, I've started writing a story about how Rangavar and Zag became friends. Zag is one of my favorite chonky bois but the story wouldn't really include romance. It also takes place before the events of the other multi-chaptered stories I've posted. I wouldn't be opposed to putting more effort into this one and posting chapters.
I also started writing a story about two other characters I've had a while, the plot of which would also take place before any of the above. Rangavar would be in it, but it would focus on an adventure the other two characters must complete. This probably sounds more vague than the others I've listed so far, but I wouldn't be opposed to beginning to post this either.
I consider all of my stories related/within the same "universe", with connected character relationships and plotlines. So none of them would particularly be like "Well, time to abandon the entire setting!" Everything is interlocked so I could really go anywhere from here. Ideas are also welcome~
You can probably already tell that they're all connected by small easter eggs I shove into the stories sometimes. No, you're not imagining them.

Aside from that I have generally enjoyed everything I've read in your gallery. Still catching up on a few things since I found ya only recently. Everything sounds fun!
If there's anything that I felt was lacking, it has to be the WG aspect. Of course, I fully understand that the second half of the series was very plot-heavy and there wasn't any room for that kind of thing, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. Arro's later size also meant that it would have been quite a challenge to include any realistic WG that ended with him still being able to walk lmao. So yeah, not really a critique, just an observation, which leads me to my thoughts on future projects.
You've demonstrated that you can write about pretty much anything and I'll enjoy it, so I trust your own judgment on what's next. Still, if there's something other than general WG that I'd be interested to see, it would be an exploration of Rangavar's shifting ability and whatnot. I felt like it wasn't quite explored enough in Hive Mind, even after things had ended with the research facility, so it'd be a really nice way of shaking things up by having a more feral focused angle. Perhaps with some WG thrown in to the mix so it's more distinct from The Curse that ruined everything? And yes, I am shamelessly biased. The way you ended Hive Mind with Rangavar getting just a little pudgy opened my eyes to the possibility of chunky Rangavar, and I'm already sold.
Other than that, the proposition about Zag and Rangavar sounds really interesting! I'm a sucker for romance, so it's a shame that wouldn't be included, but I'd still be interested in a story with those two cute beans~
I think that's it. I can't wait to see what you'll do next! Oh, also, if you feel like you need help with brainstorming or something, feel free to throw me a note! I love to discuss story ideas and whatnot with other writers~ :3
The alternative I considered was having him "lose weight" during the time between KMF and HM, but, that would have been unacceptable!!!
In all seriousness, it did give me the chance to explore WG for other characters and give that some more focus. It was fun to explore "new possibilities" as you put it :P
I have some really good ideas for the Zag/Rangavar story, and I've written about Zag a lot (which I've posted stories of lol) so I'm kinda leaning that direction. Either way I'm sort of moving backwards in their timeline though, but I'm hoping some people might be interested in it anyway
