Day 1: Virtual Social Anxiety? In MY Brain??

General
It's more likely than you think! Hi! I'm Thulani, an African Wild/Painted Dog who's been dicking around in VRChat for the past two and a half months. During that time, I've been browsing around for VR furry meetups, and avatars. Ya know, the usual stuff that a new player does. It took me almost a whole ass month just to find a good avatar that I was confident with. But anyway, I had so much frikkin confidence that I outwardly became eager to socialize with folks. However, due to IRL anxiety, I had some issues today.
This used to happen quite a bit; I would have a fuck ton of confidence, and then *poof!*. It'd suddenly disappear faster than a fresh pizza in NYC. I'd be so eager to talk to anyone I saw, and then I'd just clam up and try to stay out of people's sights. What I'm trying to get at here, is that I found it difficult to talk to folks in the virtual space today. It felt like my mouth was cemented shut. My heart was racing the whole time. It didn't help that my dad, whom I still live with, barged into my room like a fucking Bigfoot into a camper's video camera. At least Bigfoot would be quieter though.
Anyway, I need more VRC friends. I only have like....Three? I'm gonna shut up now, and try to get my profile squared away. See ya!
