Merry Christmas everyone, and happy holidays!
I would like to start off by saying thank you to all the wonderful people that I’ve met and spoken to this year. And also thank you to all of the people that have watched, liked, or commented on my stories! It means a lot to me that people enjoy what I write, and I treasure every single interaction with you that I get.
It’s been a very, very, very rough year for me, with real life crashing down over me with…let’s say quite a lot of force. I haven’t written as much as I wanted this year, mostly due to struggles with mental illness. Between extended stays in a psychiatric hospital (not fun), severe depression (less fun), suicide attempts, and a recent diagnosis of ADHD, writing has been difficult to say the least. None of that is over by any means, but things have improved a little and I’m on medication with some supports in place. So, with some of those problems reduced, I’m hoping that I can get a lot more done come the following year. I love writing, and I love putting my work on this site for people to read, so I don’t intend to stop anytime soon.
