So! It’s been a while since an update, hasn’t it? That tends to happen with me - I’m online, but I don’t post very often. But I’ve had a very productive couple of months - I got TWO stories released since mid-September! Two! I never expected to ever get that much done so quickly!
But that brings me to why I’m making this journal - stories. Most of you know, but I got a full-time job two years ago, and I found that it made it harder to juggle writing, hobbies, and work once that started than even when I was at University. I thought that for a while, I’d be able to keep on doing a small number of commissions at a time, but that simply didn’t turn out to be the case. That and my chronic distractability and procrastination have brought me to a sorry conclusion;

As of today, October 9th 2019, I am indefinitely placing commissions into a semi-closed state.

Now, what does this “semi-closed” mean? Well, it essentially means that I MIGHT still write commissions, but they will be very slow, low-priority, and relegated to either friends or people who have previously commissioned me and weren’t a total pain (seriously - a few commissioners were very painful to deal with). Not only that, but I will also prefer to do trades with these friends rather than commissions - I feel that being promised something of similar value actually encourages me more than money for some reason.
Now, why do this rather than fully close them? Because with my friends and people I have commissioned before, I find that working on stuff they suggest to be easier than strangers, and they also know what I tend to like writing about. My recent burst of creativity was due to writing things that I really enjoy, and I feel like that helps a lot.

So right below here, I’m going to make a list of all people and their profiles on either FA or DA who are still allowed to commission me. I will be separating them into three tiers, based on their relationship to me:

If you’re not on that list… sorry, you can’t commission me. Your best bet is to become friends with me - and I mean an ACTUAL friend I like talking to and hanging out with. I’d be able to spot someone who is doing so just for the commission opportunity a mile away.


IN OTHER NEWS
Part of the reason I’m cutting back on commissions is because, thanks to some artwork I recently uncovered and some hype from friends, I have a new idea in the works. I’m not going to spoil too much, except that… well, imagine a cross between Power Rangers/Sentai shows and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, except with boys who become busty Greninja heroines. Expect an odd but enjoyable combination of Saturday Morning Cartoon atmosphere and plot progression, and FA’s own raunchy lewdness.

That’s going to be it for now. Sorry for the disappointment, but I hope you all understand.
