I will not use Shinies, neither should you

I will not be using that system, and I suggest you don't either. Two main reasons:
1: Shinies uses Paypal only. As some of you may know, Paypal's stance regarding NSFW is very strict, and it's been made clear they do NOT accept it on their services. While taking commissions is all fine and dandy as long as nothing explicit is said or transmitted through paypal, using Shinies may link your activity back to FA, which IS a NSFW website, and thus get you at risk of getting your account suspended for getting money from NSFW activities.
2: this little bit: "WARNING: This email may not be private as the transaction will be P2P. A user donating to you may be able to derive your personal email.". That means if you use personal info in your Paypal that you do not want to become public, it's a risk. Then again, anyone who do commissions should be careful about what they put on their email adresses/paypal accounts, but this is also something you should be careful about.
So, here's my reasons not to use Shinies, mainly because I suspect the site to just not even take n°1 into consideration and still make it able to trace your account back to FA, which in turn can lead to account suspension or worse.
Ko-Fi had to ban NSFW for the exact same reason, because they had to align themselves with Paypal's anti-NSFW policy, and there's no reason Paypal will act differently with FurAffinity.
Be careful friends.

Paypal is weird when it comes to that sort of thing...I mean, I look at pornhubs help site, and, oh look, you can pay them with Paypal! Now, why is THAT allowed through what is a digital medium that has videos, which Paypal clearly says "No" to?
At the same time, I've heard that Paypal will ban accounts "Just because we felt like it." and people suggest other mediums.
Companies are so weird in the way things work.
But it's been made clear recently that Paypal does not like having NSFW activities being used on their services, and while they may allow bigger fishes to do so on their platform because they can make a lot of money off their transactions, I doubt they'll leave most smaller accounts untouched, especially if they don't have quite the public reach to make a situation about it.
TL;DR I wouldn't trust Paypal to even hold my beer given how flip-floppy they are.
I'd need to know more about it before giving it a try.
