It's a shame they waited so long to get in on the VR thing since VR Chat has the majority of the business. As a company they've always been really slow about progressing their software so it's no surprise.

They set themselves up for failure on it from the very start they didn't learn from mistakes

Beyond just the VR issue, they have been incredibly slow to develop on most ideas like uploading custom meshes, fixing the problems with moving across sim boundaries, vehicle physics that were pretty laughable, and others.
