got a new graphics card for Xmas.. and while there are still a few settings issues to iron out, i can now actually do Second life without it crashing my comp again. spent a few hours last night wandering around, mostly checking which of the placed i'd bookmarked years ago were still around.

on the downside, i misread a tip box interface and accidentally transferred 10K+ linden (used the wrong "custom donation" box and instead of 50 linden, sent $50 worth of linden.. ouch) so now i'm broke on there, with only a few thousand linden left.

sigh.
