Hey folks, 'sup? Hope you're all having a great summer :)
I just wanted to break the silence and reach over to all my followers to ask something on the streaming matter. As some of you may already know, I do streamings weekly and I send notifications both via Twitter and Patreon to my supporters: I've been always using Picarto, but now I'm questioning this a little... Because of Twitch, biiitch! Twitch is another streaming platform linked to Amazon and provides pretty much same services, but it's a lot different from Picarto. I guess the main difference is the remunerative aspect of it, since subscriptions to channels seem to be working with little tips instead of being totally free, as for Picarto. I've never made big money out of streams of course, neither are them super followed TBH... Also, I'm 100% not allowed to stream adult contents on Twitch, but I could easily keep it to sexy pinups pretty much.
Long story short, here comes my question: do you use Twitch? Would you follow me on there, given the chance?

If you are just looking for other places to stream your art, i can only think of just Picarto. Everyone used to use Livestream or UStream but ever since Picarto came out, everyone is on it now.
When i think of twitch, i think of games, concerts, game competitions.
If you thought about streaming art on twitch, i dont think they allow adult stuff so it might be a bad idea if the art is adult.
If its clean stuff, ok but Picarto would be the best place for it. Idk i lag when i am on twitch. I even had to get xsplit live agents, many of them, to help me configure the program due to lag. Also sometimes twitch crashes, or their servers get laggy.
As you said, it has more strict guidelines than picarto.
Also, you should announce your streams at FA, IB & SF too.
For all those who think twitter and patreon are cancer. ;p
Its like an OBS overlay and you can have all donations set up and so forth without the need for getting the Twitch requirements needed to have sponsors and so on.
