I'm up at night, wicked tired, reading some fic about a cougar lady and I'm thinking to myself. "Yo. This is good." But then I started thinking "Is it better than my own stuff?" And honestly, I think I was. In a certain way. I've always felt this need to really establish things in a story, but I also felt that might get in the way of the "catch", ya know? The lewd nitty gritty. But I realize now that's a writer's edge. In the details. So the gauntlet has been thrown down. I'm going to intensify my efforts in the hopes that my works will stand out even moreso! It's times like this ya forget you're writing furry smut.
