Leaving FA, seey'all somewhere else.

General
I don't even know if any of my watchers here are really active or interested in my work anymore.
I've been inactive on here for a long time as I began to focus more on other platforms and my own projects.
As such, I've decided I'm going to lay this account to rest. I may have met some good friends here, but I'm in contact with all of them on other platforms anyway and I think it's time to leave.
This is a goodbye from the furry community as a whole, as well.
I'm not a political person, never have been. And these days, the furry fandom is so political that I literally can't escape it. People that I didn't even know existed are blocking me left and right because of some people deciding to label me as something I'm not. Alt-furry, to be precise. I've never liked the label or ideology of it, never involved myself with its communities, and yet I still get labeled as one for some odd reason. Maybe just because I'm not openly political? Who knows.
This is too much. The furry fandom is not a fun place anymore with everyone at each other's throats, and all this frankly vile behavior. All I wanted to do was draw in peace. I miss when it was just about cartoon animals and other silly fun stuff.
Honestly, I'm done with this, and I'm heading out. If you're one of the few watchers I have who still even looks at my stuff and you want to keep following me, I'm Timbernator on DeviantART.
Peace out.

Sometimes I feel like I'm political more because I am defensive of people mistreated for who they are. I don't think I can back away from this now because of the political climate we live in, but I understand when people like you don't want to associate with this at all.
At this point, I don't know what to do quite yet. Unless practically everyone I know decides to leave, I feel that I'm going to have to join in on the exodus.
I don't even think it's just a conservative issue as it appears that Dragoneer and pals decided to take the Google route and go after completely innocent people. It's plainly obvious that the staff has no idea what even is the problem with Furaffinity, which is the entire problem with being the "thought police."
But I don't want to get too political about it. I know how you feel and I'm sorry that you had to suffer through this mess. I wish you luck in finding a safer and friendlier community. Safe to say, I'll definitely have to start investigating myself.
All this split is over people trolling journalists into reporting on "nazi furries" when they were doing this in purpose as a litness to expose journalists who don't investigate
Hope you find happiness elsewhere. I will miss you.
