"Twin Gym - The Game" - Orctober 2017 Status Update
8 years ago
General
It's been a while. My attention has been occupied by WoW for the past year or so. Then in June 2017 something really shitty happened and I got kinda depressed. But finally, there's some good news.
About two months ago I sat down and managed to squeeze out some ideas for the what will happen in the game. About a week ago I sat down again to try and draw the flow of the game using graphs, to mark where the player gets to make a choice, what will be the options presented to him and what will the consequences be for each of them. As of right now, I've drawn the breakdown for the first 11 days. The program I'm using says the entire graph consists of over 700 nodes. I still have a few ideas which I want to draw, which should be enough material for about 2 more days.
Now, do keep it mind that this is still only the first draft version. I'm basically only writing down my ideas just to see the big picture so that I can change it later down the line. This needs a lot more work put into it. I'm already seeing some things that bare rewriting, so far there's only one major choice that affects the things that happen in the following days (lots of minor choices) and I see that I'm not really utilizing many of the characters.
But yeah, it's still a big step forward :)

FA+

I've updated them, they should be fine now.
Sorry about the delay. I don't have much time during the week nowadays
So I was going through the demos and calling an Orc "Slim Shady" 'cause he said "Hi, my name is..." made my day. First demo made me a bit worried since I did not hear any BGM/BGS/SE so I thought for 10 minutes, that my sound card is broken... "Anyhoo" pretty nice story, managed to get all the routes clear. BG scenes did not make me stay dry.
I wonder about one thing... If you are planning to add some interactive scenes for example worshipping, where you can choose what you'd like to lick / touch / rub before you will get into the action with a proper renders with it? It's just a theoretical question for a future development of course...
"Anyhoo" ~ Really good job!
1) that the demos have no sound effects/music whatsoever, and
2) the idea of such interactive scenes
The lack of sound is because I have zero skills required to compose them. I do know there are sounds sfx/music available for free on the Internet, but I don't know where to look for those Still, I haven't even thought about making a notice at the start of the game saying something like "Your speakers? Yeah, you won't be needing those. Feel free to turn them off now." :)
That's some really good feedback. Thanks.
