Glad to know I'm not the only one who likes TAWOG.
Wish they'd have new episodes again.
This journal was rather late tho, these episodes aired a while ago now.
After any time I see something on that show that I think would lead to some good fan art, I check online a day or two later, but sadly it only ever turned up something juicy once or twice.
(that episode with Richard's Dad coming to live with the Watersons and them treating him like he's in prison I thought for SURE would bring some big ideas, but I've found nothing...:C)
Also, speaking of being on to things, have you seen the episode where they take shots at Miracle Star? SO Good. Now THAT lead to some fan art for sure! ^_^ (In fact, I only ever knew of that other thing BECAUSE of the artwork that had been made of it before the TAWOG episode aired.)
I feel its one of the most underappreciated shows EVER.
I think they just finished a season last month (sept-march) or at least that block of new shows. I understand they take longer than other shows due to combining so many different formats (cg, traditional, live film, that sort of thing) which makes sense.
Yeah, its hard to tell what will generate fan art or not. Though Nicole Waterson definitely gets a LOT of fanart (which I think is deservedly so) for being such a tough, hot milf.
You know I have that episode but I haven't watched it yet. Need to catch up on Gumball
EVER, huh? You don't say.
That's a bold statement.
According to a quick Google/Wiki search, Season 5 started with The Rerun (where Gumball uses a 'magic' remote with Rob, the cyclops guy)
back on Sept. 5th to March 9th with The Heist, where Richard accidentally robs a bank.
So seems you're... Right on the money. ^_^
The episode I was referring to is "The Outside".
Also, thanks for getting me to look it up, I think I somehow missed The Menu. I'll have to see if it's OnDemand or if not, on YouTube...
Indeed. I'd say she's had the most art, with Gumball a close second.
BTW, have you seen some of the incredible anime-style art of her that's been made by the fans? (including actually animating it)
Also, for some reason Darwin tends to get made black... I don't really get why.
Hmm, haven't seen the anime art of her by fans, but I've seen the episode where she has the anime inspired confrontation and fight. I heard they actually got an anime studio to do that segment for them. Good choice. I'll have to look up the fan stuff.
lol, yeah, definitely notice a theme
I understand a lot of the extra characters in the show were failed mascots the creator of the show made for other stuff. Also Gumball was going to be a dog, then a black cat (symbolizing unlucky but optimistic) before finally being a blue cat. Also any series that references my favorite comic Calvin and Hobbes is going to get big points from me
Uhhh, just to be clear, if it wasn't, the anime fan art is erotic.
I wouldn't put it past them to have outsourced those scenes to an anime studio.
*grins* I also drew a series of pictures of Daffy Duck when he wore a skirt. (let's face it, crossdressing Daffy is Much rarer than when Bugs does it)
Yeah, I'd heard that they were mostly, if not all formerly in other projects or something and were pooled together in this one show.
I too dig C&H (had a plush that IDK if it was supposed to be Hobbes, but I think I called and treated him as such regardless... also have a book or two of the collected comics)
Is Hobbes the reason you connect so well with tigers? I was born in the year of the Tiger...
BTW, watched the episode I mentioned that I missed.
Was a really fun/funny episode!
The name of that burger at the end, like SO perfect. ^_^
Ah, now that you mention it, I think I did see that. Ridiculous how detailed they made it
I actually own the entire collection of Calvin and Hobbes. I go back and read through it every so often.
Hobbes probably is the reason I like tigers so much. Or at least one of the major reasons. My mom was born in the year of the tiger too, I was born in the year of the rooster.
It's almost as if someone created the word for that joke. They could make an obvious reference to mcdonalds without worrying about getting sued or something
Yeah, it IS very detailed and quite well animated.
Are we talking about the Nicole on Nicole or the one of her and Darwin? ^____^
(Or even just the short one of her toying herself alone on the couch)
Wow. That's being a hardcore fan! Do you have any C&H tattoos or graphics on your car?
So your mom was a Tiger, you're just a Cock. Ha! XD
I believe it was named by Alfred Hitchcock.
You DO know about the term Maguffin, right? I could have sworn you were a fellow troper...
They mark your body with tattoo marks to line the laser up and zero in with the radiation. I've also heard you can only be treated once with radiation and the tattoos let everyone know you've already had your dose. Don't know how true that is though.
... Don't you?
Wish they'd have new episodes again.

Lets Both get caught up on Gumball. ^_^

(you might notice a theme)
Though the first thing I did was draw a bunch of the supporting cast: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8502953/

No, no tattoos or graphics. DOn't own a car currently
Yeah, pretty sure it was Hitchcock who came up with the term. I think I've commented on it on some of your journals, but can't remember
You either, eh? (on both counts)
Quite possibly. Things tend to blur together over time, so I don't blame you if you don't recall either...
I hope you're all better/in the clear by now.
Also, never heard of that practice. tattoos for radiation treatments?

So, where are your "tattoos"? Ever played "connect-the-dots"? ^_^
