they are half goo half fur Space children that are born with galaxies inside their bodies, though there are a few cases where there are some born with either dead galaxies or none whatsoever. Most are half fur half goo, though there can be pure goo or pure fur goolings.

Goolings usually do not have a mouth, they tend to speak either with sign language, music notes or use their goo (or bubbles) to form words though there are some who can use telepathy or have mouths and can actually speak

Most goolings appear genderless, however they can choose their own appearance (basically they can choose to look female or male)

can shape shift parts of their bodies (tail and arms mostly)

Goolings will die if their gem is destroyed, cracked gems can be healed though the galaxy inside the gooling will die if the gem is cracked
