A Belated Official Update

General
So this update comes about a month after the fact...
Grenge and I have moved from being
Vermont_furs to
texasfurs, moved down to live with
DarkDragon23 <3
While the move itself was an ordeal and I miss Vermont, I'm very excited to be in a new place and get to know all the furs here, not to mention being with Dark~ Currently in the process of getting a tech job, applications are out and interviews scheduled, also looking for part-time work to fill the gap until my tech job starts.
Already met some awesome people at the first furmeet I went to, hoping to meet more tomorrow at another meet :3
Not really as much culture shock as I was led to believe by some people - the folks down here are much friendlier than I'm used to, being a Northeast US native, and I've not run into any issues at all - a rather welcome change overall. The big difference for me is that everything's flat around here - no hills to speak of, a big change from living in the Green Mountains of Vermont. And everything's super spread out, so I have to drive most places, though there's a nice little plaza within half a mile of our apartment ^^
So yeah, in total, looking forward to what this state and city will bring me over the next years!

What is it like to look at a flat world in all directions? Do you see far off cities and buildings? Landmarks? the dawn just as it crests the oil fields? :P
