A Most Disastrous Year

Did you ever see the frightened ones?
Did you ever hear the falling bombs?
Did you ever hear the falling bombs?
For those aware or not, this entire year has been filled with nothing but sickness, death, and ruination.
Back in February I was hospitalized for issues related to getting my Crohn's into remission, since then I have been steadily having more and more troubles, and in April those troubles were identified and I finally had something to go on. Unfortunately due to my situation, I could not afford those solutions that the doctor presented. Since April I've been bed ridden off and on, wishing desperately to have something go right so I could afford the medicine I need. (Around $840 per month for anyone interested.)
The summer didn't go any better. My freelance work dried up and my bills became tighter and tighter until I was forced to drop my credit card entirely. Right now, I'm in a serious bind in back due credit card payments.
Starting from that point I worked with my family to clear a space to setup some of my grandfather's, now my brother's and my own, old carpentry equipment. Years of disrepair before he passed away has a lot of it in a state of just barely functioning, some of it needs to go into the shop for repairs, and a few rare pieces are in good shape.
After some accidents and injuries trying to get things working out, I've started offering wood working commissions. Everything from furniture and cabinets to trinkets and treen.
Last week my elder brother lost his grandmother, and that's been the focus of things lately. I wish him the best in handling the terrible loss.
I'm really hoping things improve for all of us soon. I really need something to go right for once.
