Just started formulating a story idea that I'm certain hasn't been done yet, at least not here. It involves a single man becoming entangled in a web of conspiracy, social horrors, and the evils of powerful corporations. The kicker? The man is a time-traveling badass who, through some mystical means, is trapped 1,000 years into the future where Mankind is extinct and Earth is populated with a wide array of Anthro's. The only way back is to unveil whoever is blocking his means of exit and take them down.
But to do so he'll have to work through layers and layers of corruption within a planet-sized Cyberpunk landscape touched by the magic of beings long forgotten. Luckily, he has his own skills, abilities, and tools to help him do so.

And no, I won't have any sex scenes. Just because this site has it, doesn't mean you'll find it here.
Was it through many many generations of transhumanism? Like did people just mess with their own genes until "human" became more of a concept and less a species?
And what came first? The cybernetic augmentation or the genetic hybridization?
I am very much interested in reading this, based on the ideas you have thrown down.
1. Cybernetic Augmentation in this timeline has existed since the late 2010's, and was used extensively in 2020 as part of The War of Armageddon.
2. The main character is a human who was chosen by God to play a vital part in the aftermath of Armageddon. He, among a dozen others, were chosen and imbued with powers linked directly to the deity. However, they still maintained free will and thus chose sides. The main character, Alec, teamed up with a rebellion to seek out and destroy the Catalyst inside the United States Government (which had been playing the entire world as if it were a marionette). With more 'Hunters' taking the side of evil than there were good, Alec was forced to execute (and watch the execution of the other) rival Hunters by beheadment, thus increasing his own supernatural abilities. At one point he had to remove his own right forearm to avoid being forced to side with evil, an action that resulted in it being replaced with a primitive-yet-highly advanced prosthetic. Eventually, he found and defeated the Catalyst after revealing his intentions to the world, bringing peace to the planet. For performing such a feat, he was given the ability to link himself directly to the deity to use it's powers against evil. Connected to a source of limitless power, he traveled back in time to reshape history. After 30 years of traveling (and apparently, stopped aging at 29), he had finally come back to a peaceful society in the 2020. Knowing that the Catalyst would return, he traveled forwards into the unknown future armed with nothing but his trusty sidearm and an ancient Japanese Katana. And so, he finds himself here...
3. The story is going to play out like a deconstruction of what can be found in the Furry fandom (and subsequently, on this site). Taking what people have made in terms of the good, the bad, and the no-goods, I'm going to create character relationships, rivalries, and probably a lot of overall carnage. I think the only thing I won't touch is people's obsession with TV Shows and Video Games. I WILL, however, touch social media a bit.
