Oh, god, where do I even begin?! I had the most amazing time at my first FWA (and my first furcon in general). I've never had this much fun at a con before! (I've been going to more general cons for the last 4-5 years, so I'm not totally new to conventions)

I met so many amazing people, and it was wonderful to deliver commissioned badges to everyone- it makes me happy to see people wear my art on a badge, especially since there are so many fantastic artists who offer badge commissions. Ya'll were great, and it was a huge confidence boost. I'm more inspired than ever to create art!

I made some new friends, and I got to hang out with some really cool local people that I can't wait to see again!! Also FWA has a lot of really cute people!! And everyone was so kind and helpful! I lost my phone at one point, and by the time I walked up to the hotel concierge to ask about it, someone had already turned it in!

On that note, safety was AMAZING. I have never, ever felt this safe and secure at a con, especially as a young femme. It was incredible how at ease I was able to be!!

FWA 2016 has lit a bit of a fire in me, and I am determined to volunteer, even staff, if possible, for 2017. I want to help this amazing con however I can!!!
