Where you want to let someone know something they don't know about you, but out of fear of how they'll react, you can't bring yourself to say it or bring it up?

That's how I've feeling the past month or so. Lately, I've been wanting to tell my mother about me being a diaper lover. Part of me knows that as my mother, she'll accept me for who I am, but another part of me says that she would never be able to look at me the same way and she might even get the wrong idea about my liking. And considering that she only speaks Spanish, it makes it somewhat awkward for me. I have told her about being a fat fur in the past and she definitely didn't care, but something about diapers just makes it seem like it's crossing the line between what whould be acceptable and what wouldn't be. I know I probably wouldn't get anything out of telling her (besides this obvious weight on my chest), but maybe she woukd let me buy my own diapers with my own money? That's partially what I'm hoping for. Have any of you guys told your parents or parent about a fetish? If so, how did it go and how did you work up the courage to do so?
