"How are communications down." Yelled a soldier to his right

Before saying something a wall of fire rushed behind him. Immediately he ran through the flames to early and had third degree burns on his chest. Luckily his helmet protected his face.

A plasma shot to the leg afflicted more damage, and pain making him yell and limp.

The Reapers are closing in and behind him was only the sea.

"If there is anyone...out there please respond this is Lonewolf."

His gun clicked, no ammo, wounded to where he couldn't swim, plus he was blacking out. When a shipflew in a rush of darkness drifted over him, and everything was empty.
