There was once a time when my husband, then boyfriend, and I both bought the new Pokemon reboots. Oh how we played them, much fun was had. One day, after both of us had both finished the main quests I exclaimed "Oh goodness me, a shiny ponyta!" to which me husband became very jealous because he had never encountered a shiny. We both looked on in amazement, and I moved my character out of the long grass when lo! another shiny ponyta appeared. And so I evolved one and had a shiny ponyta and rapidash. My husband was very jealous. And still is.
