Porn is nice, but it does not really set your character. I think it is mostly the non porn that sets your character or avatar. To be honest, what I call a character is what you would probably describe as an avatar. I dont have him do anything I wouldn't do, and he uses my prefered name.

It really is the non porn comms though that really set your avatar, it allows you much more freedom of expression then porn does.

I totally know what your talking about. Sometimes it is hard to write something like that and expect it to make sense to anyone but yourself.

That is the same reason I tend to get porn. Plus people tend to like it more, and I kind of like it when people like art of my character.

Getting non porn requires a lot more though, but I think you get a better result too. It is something that is more personal to you. I mean, tentacles and dicks are fun, but sometimes a really expressive scene will mean more to you. Like, I recently got one that I use as my background and lock screen on my computer because I feel like I can connect a lot closer to that, then I can to porn.

Plus like... there is only so much art you can get by yourself. I have kind of petered out with the art commissioning because I am running out of ideas by myself. I do have a few left, but the ones I have left I am reserving for a few very specific artist, because of their style. Right now I am just posting stuff that I have had in the works for a long time, or that I did not post originally.

Actually, thinking about all this gives me an idea, and I think I'll update the journal itself so that I don't forget!

ooooh, thats actually a really cool idea! Kind of like a personality chart, but instead of doing like... moods and stuff, you have pictures of activities. I love the idea! If you do it, I cant wait to see how it turns out. I might do one in the future, it is a super cute idea!

You'll get basically no watchers, but clean art often has way more character than porn. I think you'll have a lot of fun with it ^^

I need some more canon, high-quality clean art too, honestly. But it's so hard to resist getting a big ol' butt drawn v.v

Butts are admittedly pretty awesome though, as well as dicks in butts, or all the things in butts, but it is not as expressive. True that you dont get a ton of watchers tho, which is sad, but meh.

I guess that's what alt versions of pics are for, you have one where you're doing something inocuous, and a cutaway view showing a buttplug in :D

oooh, I have never done that before with a comm... but I could think of some poses where that would be a pretty nice idea!
