Hello. As of writing (July 8, 2015), my gallery is quite small. However, I plan to make it grow and for this I'll need to make a journal that explains my terms and conditions as an artist regarding commissioned art. Please read over everything carefully! Thanks! Also, please forgive any misspellings or weird formatting. I don't have proper time to look this over.
1. DO NOT reissue, resell, or remake my art in any way. If you are buying for someone else, that is fine, but what I mean is do NOT sell my art in adoptable batches, and do not alter it. If something needs to be changed, just tell me. Furthermore, please do not claim to have made your picture!
2. I work on my own time. Sometimes I must go outside and do things. I do have a lot of free time though, and that may change soon. Please be patient.
3. No refunds on completed work, unless issued by me. You will pay or you do not get the non-watermarked version of your picture. Please do not put me through this kind of trouble! Be sensible!
4. DO NOT COMMISSION ME IF YOU CANNOT PAY FOR IT! THAT'S THAT!
5. Please do not pay me until I approve of your commission, or else I will have to refund it and I really don't want to have to disappoint you. Please, just do not do it.
6. I have every right to refuse your commission, request, or trade if I see fit.
7. Please be very, very detailed when sending me your ideas for a commission, request, or trade. I greatly prefer pictures instead of words, but if offered a very detailed description, I may be able to work with it. Do not refuse to fill out any required information, please!
8. When paying with Paypal, PLEASE put your username in with the payment information! It's very important to keep track of who paid and who didn't. This is the simplest way. Use the username that you contacted me under!
9. Due to my internet, I have trouble streaming. I will constantly send you updated pictures if anything needs changing. If you do not mind a buggy connection, I may be able to offer a stream sometime.
10. The prices listed are ranged and are subject to change!
11. Any rating is fine, though please note there are some things I will not do, and I do not have to do them. There are many artists out there besides me, probably better than me!
12. Saying that something is "up to me" is exactly that, UP TO ME. I will not constantly fix something if you already have a clear idea in your head. Please be specific!
13. If my commissions, requests, or trades are closed, they are CLOSED. Do not bother me! There's usually a reason.
14. If you want any of your characters in a picture with my character, just tell me and I'll try to work something out with you. Note that because they are all unique and have personal tastes, I may refuse for them to be in that picture and I will offer an alternative character if applicable.
15. If you would like any of my characters in a commission, request, or trade with another artist, just tell me! But remember the rules of 14!
16. I will not do free revisions after the sketch stage! Revisions cost differently depending on complexity.
Artwork will be done either traditionally, digitally (in Inkscape), or traditionally with some digital work. There are things I will not draw, and they will be listed at the bottom of the journal. The customer will be paying for any specified image(s) and the hourly time put into it. I will not try to fleece you on time, and I will keep track of every second spent on art.
Traditional art can and will be done in a variety of ways. From sketches to fully colored pieces of art in either graphite pencil, charcoal, or Copic markers (and sometimes with the use of Sharpie markers). Level of detail may vary according to your wishes, from minimal to complicated. I greatly prefer Copic markers when working traditionally and offer a discount on my using them. My best work is feral or semi-feral animals, though I am willing to attempt and improve on anthro forms. With the purchase of a traditional picture, I will give you a scanned copy in png form and post it on my Furaffinity and DeviantArt account unless requested not to. If you would like to have a physical copy, I may be able to arrange that.
Digital artwork will be done in Inkscape. This is a program typically used for vector art. I will only be making logos and glyphs this way. I am currently inexperienced in making fully-colored pieces of art in this program so for now, logos and glyphs are all I can offer. Upon completion of the image, I will send you the svg file along with a large png file. If you would prefer one over the other, I can easily give you that. Images will be posted in png form on my DeviantArt account unless requested not to.
Traditional art with digital editing usually means that I will sketch and line a drawing on paper and then scan it and color it digitally. This is the way I prefer doing things the mos. All the same stipulations of detail apply here as well. With a digital program, though, it may be easier for me to add more detail to your picture. As with traditional art, I am best at feral and semi-feral animals and may attempt to draw anthro forms. As with the purchase of a traditional drawing, I will send you the png file and post the picture to my Furaffinity and DeviantArt account unless requested not to. Also as with traditional art, I would be willing to send you the original picture before scanning. Note that it will NOT be colored. I can also offer a pre-coloring digital copy (in png) as well.
Starting Off: $10/hour
This price is non-negotiable. I will not take less than $10 an hour. I will keep orderly track of time as I work to make sure that I will take the fair amount of money owed to me. Please note that I do not do anything but draw during the period where I am timing myself. All chat programs and other distractions are turned off so that I do not overcharge you.
