Why six eighths?

Oooh, there are so many reasons....

I like to be different.
I like the challenge.
My most popular song, Blue Mountain, uses 6/8.
I like Modern Classical music.
I like Lots of Strings - Classical give me an excuse to go all out :) (Blue Mountain used 5 bow and string tracks, 2 harps, and 2 guitars. )
And if I'm going to write my own theme song, it's not going to be something you'd want to play in a club. I'll save that for the 4/4 mix :)

You'd think being un-employed would give me all kinds of time to work on this stuff :) But, alas, reality keeps getting in the way... I'll probably get Abornia out this month. And except for Dawn, everything else is still just a name. Dawn is gong to be interesting - it will have lyrics, which means we get to see if I can sing :p

It would also be nice if FA would cooperate on the uploads.

I've tried Firefox and Epiphany under Linux, I've tried Firefox and IE6 under XP... I'm starting to suspect it's a Verizon thing. It worked fine when I was on cable. Maybe I'll try a VPN or tunnel through my server...

Add Lynx from my co-located server to that list. It isn't the connection, it isn't the browser. It's FA's proxy server:

Well, that settles it. From now on I'm just going to post a teaser clip (say 30 seconds) and a link to the songs on my server. I master at 24 bits and 48khz... compressing to 128Kbps is a waste of my time. Heck, if anyone wants lossless versions of my music, I can upload them in FLAC :)
