On Character Originality

General
Essie is a rather generic character, all things considered. He (at the moment at least) has no unique marks, and is one color throughout. He's plain white.
Because he's so simply-designed, it doesn't bother me when I see other similar 'sonas. It would be asinine to get onto people for having a white rabbit, even one with the same details as mine. Because Essie may be unique, but his features are probably not.
And that's okay.
Maybe it's because I haven't had anyone directly copy me, or claim to be me. Maybe it's just the fact that I haven't made Essie "unique" yet.
I'm not sure.
I am wondering though if I want to give him some identifying feature. A furmark? Coloring? A unique accessory?
No idea, but it would have to feel right. I don't want to just pick something for the sake of identification.

Perhaps the unique thing you're looking for isn't anything physical, but is just a behavior.
