Five Thousand Words

I'm going to try something that's arguably really fucking stupid.
Instead of writing 500 word, instead of writing 1000 words, I'm going to go ahead and overclock it at 5000 words for a total amount of work. While the one person who actually might read this crap will guess one reason, there's a few. I want to test to see if I can in fact write a whole two part chapter in one day. Or in this case, it'll probably be half of a chapter based on the conditions I'll set below.
The first condition, which'll also be a goal, is essentially that I'll call the editing of the first chapter... maybe 2000 of those words, just because I'll be deleting and adding new dialogue which will take up the same amount of time in theory.
The second condition is obvious -- that being that the total word count for today will end up being 2000 + whatever words I've got in the second chapter.
The third being the 2000 words won't count unless I've really feel I've worked for those 2000 words in editing -- being I do not notice any glaring grammar mistakes or poorly written dialogue.
This is stupid, and I'll be the first to admit that even with the 2000 word handicap, 3000 words is still a hefty order. An order I've demonstrated the ability to do, but an order that's still tall all the same. Still, I feel like it's worth the attempt to at least try to hit, or exceed that 5000 word goal.
Hopefully that'll demonstrate considering how much earlier I'm actually making this journal entry. Lets see if I can use some kind of self (as far as you know) competitive spirit will serve as the right motivation to help me reach where I need to go.
Since the goals are kind of broad, and most of their sub-tasks are repeats of the last few, I won't post any today. I will however post an overview, just to see what I did exactly.
So that's my latest potentially long winded journal entry. Sure wish I could include them in that 5000 words. Oh well.
