So, I don't have anything fundamentally against Patreon or the artists who use it. It's well suited to use for funding some kind of special ongoing project, or just a way to offer a little tip to your favorite artists. It's cool, I get it.
But I see it being abused, too. Things like slapping big fat Patreon watermarks on commissioned art with a promise for higher res versions (without the 'ads') seems abusive to me. Someone already paid you for that work. Just seems like a cynical way to try and extract more money from your fans.
Oh, well. Least I can always unwatch the folks who are abusing it :>

The polite alternative of not posting the art at all deprives us of the knowledge of its existence. Would that be better than the business tease?
