MFF / CPFC : best cons I've been to in years.

General
MFF was great. Probably one of the best conventions I've been to in a very long time.
I met several new people, and I really do appreciate all of their company. The convention would have been nothing at all without them. To all of my Fort Worth friends (Raptor and HayPanda), I missed you guys and I'm glad we met up and were able to hang. To all of those I met through my Fort Worth friends (two of you in particular), I am excited at the opportunity to develop a friendship with you. I can't wait to see how things might turn out.
To all of my friends from SecondLife; I've known some of you for years. It was incredible to be able to apply a face and a personality to the avatar. I don't know how excited you guys were to meet me, but I was more than excited to meet you.
To one crux in particular; you were a sweetheart, and being able to spend time with you was precious indeed. There's so much more I could say, but it would be better not to. :>
Oh, and since I never posted about CPFC, I'd better do it now before I forget!
After a rough experience on my second day of the convention, I found it necessary to book my own dwellings apart from my roommates. (really guys? c'mon...)
Doing so allowed me to have some great times with three semi-friend-acquaintances, as well as a new person who turned out to be one of the biggest sweeties I'd met in a while.
I bought a lot of art and some comics, went to a delicious Mexican place in the earliest of morning hours (I was smashed; I barely remember anything past talk of the good times the morning after), and had Kraken for my first time. I left Zahzu's car door open while we ate at the Mexican place that drunken morning. I was too drunk to remember to close it. At least nothing got stolen or broken. :P
I listened to one of my friends talk about jazz and saxophone for at least an hour with great interest. I learned some things, but the details are lost on me now. I was also kind of drunk then too. :P
I ended up hanging with Merk for a while at a room party; we were able to catch up on some stuff. It was nice for sure.
I love all you guys. In the end, I hope at least a few of the new people I've met turn out to be more than just acquaintances.
