Late Night Ramblings

It is technically early morning here, but whatever...
It's still dark out.
It's 'night' enough for me...
Just browsing through more old art while I wait for the printer/scanner to be able to be used again.
Trying to pick out some pieces that I can look at without rolling my eyes or groaning.
It all seems so old to me...
Hopefully I'll be able to earn some actual comments once legit new stuff gets put up.
Speaking of 'new' thinks, my female snake Isis(a birthday gift from August) tried to bite me yesterday morning.
She missed, because even in my barely-awake state I have good perception and reflexes...
I took it as a hint she wanted a rat, so i had to run up to the pet store and buy some for her and Osiris.
Goodness knows I'm going to buy both of them noms if I go for one...
Now that I think of it though, she may have just been feeling prissy because I refilled their water dish with her in it...
Or maybe she's gravid...
Whatever...
While I was out getting the rats, I swung by the used game store that's literally two doors down from the Scales N Tails...
Lo and behold, I walked out with Pokemon Blue version.
I also bought a copy of the 3DS Street Fighter game.
Anyone wanna share friend codes?
I've got a bunch of other games too.
Humuhumunukunukuapua`a
It's Hawaii's state fish.
It's a pretty fish too...
The name is funny though; I like it.
I have this weird(ish?) goal of trying as many new and different foods as I can before I die...
Maybe it's because I'm used to the deep south, where nearly any animal can be put on the menu.
Or maybe I just watched too much bizarre foods...
Bison is -really- tasty, by the way.
I like it SO much more than beef.
Actually now that I think about it, I like a lot of red meats better than beef.
Like venison- that stuff is delicious.
Seafood-wise, I've always like shrimp.
Weirdest seafood I've ever had was raw scallops.
I've had octopus too, but the raw scallops take 1st place.
I didn't even know what they were are first.
They're nothing like raw oysters flavor-wise... like, at all.
Saw a video on youtube earlier today about deep-fried calf's brain.
It actually looked pretty tasty.
There's a butcher shop across the street that sometimes has brains for sale.
I think they're lamb, not cow, but maybe I'll try it.
