Explanation of the Funding Process

There will be two ways to fund the Chalkdust Comic. Well, actually, there are more than two, but there will be two basic ways, and we're going to explain them here.
1st Way - Patreon
Patreon uses a pledging system. For each piece of content posted, you agree to pay a set amount (whatever you want that amount to be). It doesn't take that money out of your account until the end of the month. If Chalkdust winds up posting two times a month, it would take two times your pledge amount out at the end of the month.
The system we are going to use for it is that, once an inked piece is paid for, it gets posted on Patreon (and here), and that triggers patreon to have it's patrons to pledge an amount of money. That money goes towards the Next inking. This relies heavily on the honor system, if people pledge money, they have to follow through!
So for each page, the money from Patreon's current pledges are tallied first, and then the rest will be made up with donations. If the donations and the patreon go over $35, the page is considered funded, and everything resets for the next page!
For those who don't like paypal, you can use your debit or credit card directly with Patreon.
For those who only like paypal - since Patreon doesn't allow paypal to be used for NSFW accounts - you'll have to donate directly! You can Note us here for the paypal address to go to.
Special situations:
If you want, you could do a bigger paypal donation, and have it be spread over several pages. If you want to do that, just note us and we'll figure out a plan!
