This is pretty much news for the guys who hang around on Second Life, and have a keen interest in saving one of the world's endangered species by donating to a preservation fund.


Dirtiran is releasing a new avatar today, the Tokushi Bilby. The goal of Tokushi industries is to donate one-third of all of their earnings from the Bilby avatar in the next three months to the 'Save the bilby Fund' . Why? Simply because the bilby is an endangered marsupial specie, with one breed of Bilbys already extinct, and another breed about to follow suit.

Cute. Kinda like a character from the 'Rescuers' movie, huh ? Or maybe even 'An American Tail' . In any case the avatar goes for the flat price of 900 lindens (The same price of all of her avatars up to date) and come with a variety of options such as interchangable eye colours, blink options, hand gestures, mouth positions and twitchable/ repositionable ears with a range of ten different colours.
