Why not secondlife?

I have been on SL for a while. But first, the chat window alone already felt somehow limiting. Maybe because it needed to be focused, or a bit slower to respond or I do not know… writing longer text was somewhat uncomfortable.
Having visual feedback *can* be nice. I can imagine people who know how to use SL can really use it to extend and further stimulate what they write. But on the other paw, you have choreograph everything, probably with some testing before. Which is not *experiencing* it the moment when I play with someone.

Furcadia adds just the right amount of 'first impression'… but then is mostly a text-chat. Somehow I like this combination.

Ofcourse, one of the reasons is probably also that I met some of my most important soulmates on there. :-P

By the way, the nickname on Furc is 'TokenRat' if anyone wants to poke. :3
