Central Valley Furs?

So it seems that there are some Central Valley Furs (I live in Riverbank, 10 min away from Modesto, here in Cali), but it seems difficult to get in contact with them and i'm also a little shy about it? I would love to get to know more furs in my area, and I know ONE fur, she comes to my school, but we rarely talk...
So yeah. It's hard finding other furs unless I attend a huge convention, but I'm not 18 yet and I definitely don't have the money, so there's that.... Ugh, it gets lonely man D:
