New Month, New Goal! Also, Important FQC Info!!

First off, the new goal for this month is $150. The $200 goal I had last month didn’t go over very well, but we’re definitely going to be needing more then $100 here pretty soon.
Second, the announcement for Filly Queen Chrysalis. FQC will now be partially donation run.
What this means and how it works:
- I will update on the first Friday of every month, no matter how much or how little is donated. These will always be storyline updates. (This is dependent on internet access though)
- However, to unlock more updates that month, they’d need to be unlocked by donations. $15 would be for a storyline update, $20 would be for a cute or funny stand alone.
- I will be doing Singing Request Streams. You throw money at me, I’ll sing requests while drawing requests. Hopefully my head won’t explode from multitasking.
- Donators get free art! If you donate enough for an update for FQC, you get some art of whatever you like!
So, as you can see, no matter whether there are donations or not, the blog still gets one update a month, which I thought was the most important thing. I don’t want to discontinue a story I love just because everyone is as broke as I am. It’s not fair to all of you, and it’s very fair to me either!
Now for the life update, and why I’ve set monthly earning goals for myself.
Neros is officially done and out of the Navy! We have about two teeny paychecks coming in from the 5 days of active duty he had this month, and selling back the rest of his leave time. But we have no idea how much they will be at all, really. We do have the option of taking out a loan from his retirement savings which we are looking at, but we’d rather not since, y’know, retirement savings are kind of important.
We have yet to hear back from the company that was looking to hire him. They said they would call early this week, but since I’m used to the job hunt, I’m not holding my breath. Therefore, it’s back on the commission wagon I go until I myself find a job that seems viable.
So, if you’d like Neros, Loki, and I to not starve, you can commission me! Remember, I draw more then just ponies too, you just have to ask!
