So you're outright asking for RPers? What kind of RPs are you looking for and what kind of players?

I'm a bit of a RPer myself, though I no longer really do so due to both lack of partners and lack of interest at the moment in my current RPs (though I periodically continue them).


An important point is also if you want them to be done via PM/message board or instant messenger (like Skype). I no longer do the former ; one reply every day means taking months for a regular conversation which is a rate I no longer find acceptable. Not that I'm an one-liner user by any mean ; I do tend to write walls of text... just prefer them to be read and replied to the moment they're writen instead of 24 hours after.

Yeah I'd prefer it on a messenger like Skype or Yahoo. I don't have many RP partners anymore and just miss it. I mean I got a few Homestuck RP buddies and my best friend lives with me so we don't text roleplay often at all.

Like with Pokemon I can only find human characters and while I have some, I like the pokes (especially my own pokes) so much more! I'd like to use them you know?

I really understand your point. In fact, this is a big point with a lot of 'Mons'-type settings ; the monsters are really the interesting point and in many cases, the ones that you'd wish they fleshed out as characters and put into the spotlight.

But they always must put annoying human characters in there.


I can understand the logic (relatable characters and all) but it's grating. It becomes doubly grating when fellow fans refuse to cut the middle man or focus on the human characters without coming up with storylines/reasons why to focus on them outside of 'officially, they're the main characters!'.

But then, I'm a weird, weird person.
