I think the Pokemon, Lopunny, was created solely for the furry fandom. I mean she is said to be based off a playboy bunny girl and her in-game cry just proves my theory true even more.

Very nice video, although I have to wonder what your brother's issue with fursuits is.

He's kinda creeped out by someone wearing a full head mask that has only one expression and unmoving eyes. He can't see the face of the person inside, so he can't 'read' them.

it is a very interesting video teric :) you make a few honest points on both sides and I see them. I am with you I've seen pieces of MLP but .. personally I just can't get into it... ^.^;; I think though my biggest turn off to the show was not the show... but some of the fans. I maybe one of the rare ones who have run into what I have begun to calling "My Little Witnesses" or "Jovius(sp) Ponies"

I call them this simply in that these bronies have gotten offended at me to the point of almost physical interaction with me over me quote 'not really finding the show interesting' ... the best example for me was at this Last Anthrocon I went to.

I went to the table top game room toplay a game of my favorite game warhammer 40k. and had a game with a friend of mine going, while I was playing a gentlemen came up to me.. wearing a rainbow dash hoodie, a twilight sparkle back pack and a few other times as well as a tshirt with the characters on it. he asked me .. while I was playing my game if I knew of the show I said I did, he then asked if I watched the show, I told him I didn't as I wasn't really interested in it, it just wasn't 'for me'. he got all in a fuss over hearing this and told me that I had to get into the show because by being interested I would... and I do not lie here. I would join "the Good side, for all those who don't watch and don't enjoy My Little Pony are all Chaos and Evil" it honestly took me aback and he kept insisting and trying to make me stop what I was doing to go watch the show and become a fan...

so I have personally nothing against bronies they can be nice guys and gals like us furs and I have no ill feelings towards them they are just into something I am not and I respect it. I just don't understand whats the point of getting angry at people who aren't into it like that... and I know not all bronies are like that its no doubt the minority of the group but I just don't get it...

in the end as I said before the video makes some good points and so I enjoyed it.

Thanks for watching, Silkpaws! I'm sorry to hear about your experience with a belligerent Brony. I myself had a bad experience with a Brony, but it was along different lines... (ugh)

However, after my brother took me to a Brony convention, I've seen that they are much like the furries--most of them are nice, geeky folks who love MLP, but don't get upset when they meet someone who doesn't.

*shi nods* I had a feeling that is what they are like... as I said all the bronies I have run into who are aggressive and rude I would find it hard to believe if they were the major 'faces' to the group. as I have seen many a brony who are quite nice... I just seem to run into at the same time ones who are much less... polite. <.< I don't know what it is I do...

Haha no, we don't argue like that. We're both okay with the fandom the other has chosen. The 'argument' you saw in the video was just fun banter.

I also enjoyed the video. I'm also a furry who enjoys some aspects of the Brony community. I think you covered most if not all of the main points, at least that I could think of.

I still need to find time to watch some of his videos. To tell you the truth I'm a bit shy to do it for some reason. I'll watch this probably tomorrow or so.
