I showed up to court yesterday, and f3nix did in fact show up. However he did not contest the order (though he, of course, claimed that the threat never occurred). He also returned my set top box, among other things, because his mover friends just took things and he wasn't adequately supervising.


Though my things were returned, there were apparently other miscellaneous items taken from my room-mates that were brought to my attention, including 2 Nintendo Wii controllers from Adilor.

A particular note from the hearing: He claimed that he just wanted to get out of the so called "unhealthy environment" that my supposedly was. Of course, since he wasn't contesting my order, the judge granted the full 1 year DV order, I did not feel it necessary to correct him on the fact that the health of the household was markedly improved in numerous ways:

1) The upstairs bathroom is no longer a disaster area. The numerous times I asked him to clean the bathroom, he only did so haphazardly and did not do the full job, and claimed that others were using the bathroom and messing it up. Since he left, the bathroom has had no piss near it the toilet, and it's as clean as what it was after the major cleanup done by Glacierwolf.

2) The downstairs bathroom was a disaster area because someone intentionally pissed on the seat & floor around the toilet repeatedly. He repeatedly blamed Diesel & Adilor for this. Well, since he has left, there have been no further "piss on the seat/floor" incidents at all.

3) Despite having the responsibility of cleaning up after the dogs, we are still cleaning dog hair up in places, two weeks after he left, which if he had cleaned up after the dogs as he promised, there would have been no hair everywhere for us to clean for nearly two weeks.

Also, he made issue of his trustworthy-ness as a student. I guess no one explained to him that keeping up a face for educational purposes is easy for a manipulator. When you get blackout drunk to the point of yelling at me & others because of his serious lack of personal self control, that in reality informs your actual ability, not merely just one aspect of your life.

If this was just this one particular incident, with no previous incidents ever occurring, I wouldn't have notified law enforcement or gotten the courts involved because I would have written it off as a stupid drunk mistake and forgiven it. As a civil libertarian (look it up), I thoroughly do not enjoy engaging myself with police officers or with the state court systems. I However, this was due to a long history over a period of a few months where his aggressive and manipulative behavior (pissing all over the toilet of others bathrooms to turn people against each other inside of the house and cause finger printing), abject stupidity (his continual drinking), lying (about why his ex-girlfriend left him), and just other things.

I have little tolerance for domestic batterers (specifically for what he did to his now ex-girlfriend). Such people are lower than the white stuff that builds up on the corner of your lips while you sleep. This scumbag lied to me in order to get into my place and into my home. Anyone stupid enough to let him in your home, you're looking at a wild ride after about 6 months of him acting "normal" and then him falling apart (if you can stand the cleanliness issues for that long).
