Im sure you've been asked this before... but if you could become your fursona and it was socially acceptable to be as such... would you give up your humanity to be such a person?
If you do you are still fertile, still as intelligent as you were before, the only thing that changes are your looks, organs and the such.

my Fursona is very human. He thinks like a human and other then having the strength of a bear and the Roar. but to be honest.. I like myself. I like being a Great Ape, a Member of a large and strong lineage of animals.
